- Join me in beautiful Burnham - on - Sea (AKA Burbados) for a stroll a long the beach out to the River Brue Estuary and on to Apex Park which is a wonderful wildlife and recreation area.

Thank you Amanda! Yes, it was great to catch up with Paul. It was a very last minute thing, but really enjoyable. I understand that Haven Holiday Parks are really quite reasonable - especially out of season. I might try one one day.

I was impressed with Burnham town centre it looked attractive with lots of independent shops and well maintained flower borders too. Very friendly place as well.

The track is I would imagine for the boat yard by the roundabout to get boats in & out of the river using a tractor 🙏🙏

Thank you Faith! It’s a really lovely wander. I didn’t make up the name Burbados. I owe the credit for that to Charlie, our breakfast show presenter on BBC Radio Somerset - he is a resident there and really loves living there. I think Burbados suits it 🤗

Thank you! Yes, I liked the music too! Sometimes it takes ages to find the right track, but this was the first one that I listened to in the search that I put in to find a suitable track and I loved it straight away.

Great video! I've been visiting Burnham from Glastonbury for the past 16 years and this route is new to me! Thank you Louise I'm excited to try it. Is it easy to pick up the route from the sea wall? Is it well signposted.
Thank you! Yes, very easy to pick up from the sea wall. You walk to the end of the sea walk and there it is. It runs alongside the river Brue estuary in a straight line and is well sign posted from the end of the sea wall. I hope you enjoy it!
