      Because money outweighs controversy in the eyes of a company. Many people are drawn to the young, bubbly personality. This can be positive attraction, like teens who are romantically attracted or people who find childlike innocence cute in a wholesome way, or negative attraction, like creepy old people who are sexually attracted to childlike images. In the eyes of the company however, both types of people are the same, so they just market to the whole group.

    Most people in the actual Elegant Gothic Lolita (EGL) fashion community are actually strictly against it being associated with anything sexual. Especially when it happens to share a name with that book/movie but is not related at all. EGL is a counter culture fashion movement so it’d be nice to see more people that aren’t in the community understanding that there’s nothing wrong with Lolita fashion. THAT SAID- bloomers as safety shorts with these outfits are just not the look.

    Okay, thats it, I have a couple things to say. 1. This isnt ok, in fact, this is EVEN WORSE Than seeing female idols "safety shorts".. .and mind you, it was ALREADY REALLY BAD that we could see their safety shorts! 2. This is NOT what it seems like it is, this is DEPRAVED and TRULY heartbreaking. Here, look, ill try to explain both... hopefully without getting deleted. Eell see, that may be hard considering the road this little trip is going to have to take us down.
    OK, so, #1... The regular safety shorts, as it was... are already BAD ENOUGH in how these labels choose to RELY o n them, and DISPLAY them. If you can see them.... then the fact that you can is automatically your SECOND biggest issue. Safety shorts are meant to be a level of defense against 3 things. A wardrobe malfunction, weather playjng with physics, and a lack of a gap between the stage and the fans. (Aka, unfortunate stage height + crowd height.) They are LITERALLY a second (well, hopefully second! Lol) pair of undergarments.
    To put it simply, Safety shorts are to K-pop as Spanks are to cheerleading. In fact, they literally make them AS a kind of underwear now, called "boy shorts"... its the result of countless women stealing their boyfriends briefs and just folding the top down untill they are pulled tight.
    Which is exactly the point here.... all of the normal black safety shorts that these ladies usually wear ARE TIGHT. Because THEY ARE LITERALLY UNDERWEAR, the only "difference" and the reason the were used in the first place, is that the material goes all the way to the inner leg and then tightens around your leg.
    Its LITERALLY there ONLY so that if someone ACCIDENTALLY sees up your skirt because maybe... you are doing some acrobatics, of (and because this is the time we live in, haha) if your choreography happens to involve a spread eagle crotch flash... then we aren't going to see anything beyond a wall of fabric. Albeit that wall of fabric is 100% flush againsyour body and LITERALLY covering the Bt ARE ASS MINIMUM.
    (Seriously, if a guy EVER did that in the USA, he would straight up be arrested for indecency and lude sexual behavior in the presence of minors. After all, theres a LOT of minors in the fandoms. Moreover, because so many of the girls in kpop are also minors, the labels would find themselves in hot water in the US if undergarments were purposefully being shown. Either by way of suggestive choreography, or purposefully styles skirts in combination with the undergarments.)
    Which of course bring us to... #2. Because there are full grown adults in the crowd, just as there are kids. Therefore, to be completely frank, the revealing clothing... whether it be skin it reveals OR THIS. Which im sorry, but is a pedobear fantacy of seeing gnup littls girls skirts specifically. They dont want to see anything sexy, they WANT innocent. And theres nothing more innoce then fluffy bloomers. Howeve, if there are being seen due to the specific styling AND the choreography, then its NOT innocent. Its just one of the most basic fetishes of kiddy lovers.
    People often think that putting adult clothes on kids is the problem, but its not. Its keeping them looking innocent whilst teasing that said innocence is RIGHT THERE, like a carrot on a stick. THAT is what they want, and THAT Is why this is actually SO GROSS. If you act like the minors are no different from the older girls, and if you dress them all NORMALLY, but within the just barely an adult range of style....
    THAT is how you protect the minors. You dont MAKE THE INNOCENCE STAND OUT, and you DEFINITELY dont act like its ok to have a skirt go up and get a face full of bloomer, any more than you would a skirt going up and seeing a thong. One is adult, one is chilish, but BOTH ARE FETISHES, and ONLY ONE of them is acceptable.
    After all, yes, we have exotic dancers nd they are completely accepted! Heck, even rather respected these days if anything. Meanwhile, we also have state correctional facilities FULL of inmates whom DO NOT ACCEPT kiddy lovers in amongst their population, EVER! Care to guess what happens to them when they get convicted themselves?! They definitely dont have theirnown special floor, thats for sure.
    So when the violent offenders, those who have taken other mens lives for a pack of gum, when they cant stamd you. Thats saying something. So when they find one, they PUT THEM DOWN. In fact, over here, those sickos are.focrcex fo will form a whole backstory of being guilty of massive war crimes before they admit their true ones.
    In other words, the only thing WORSE than sexualizing the very things that represent innocence... are those whom that sort of effort targets and draaws into the fandoms. SO, the fact that SO MANY commentators think its okay, is a big part of WHY they are doing this.

    • @chakho8548
      @chakho8548 Před měsícem +2

      But these are blooomers, not safety shorts. Bloomers are worn underneath something to make it poof but they themselves are shorts and can be worn as it is. They're supposed to be seen unlike safety shorts. They're longer than safety shorts and they're not tight on the skin. We wear bloomers and skirts back in my cheerleading days and it feels secure and doesn't make us feel conscious even if our bloomers are seen. Because of the garter on the legs, the length is kinda fixed because of the garters even when you do a headstand. No one is gonna see your crotch with a bloomer that's for sure.
