I see people talking about Megumi revealing his personality, but this plays down what makes this scene so metal for me. This is him snapping a little, and finally letting himself be truly selfish with desires to become stronger. With some sense and imagination, he poured everything he had into this image, yet it’s still incomplete.
We’re seeing him grow. Just imagine yourself as stronger, smarter, more successful; be greedy.
