This is the video everyone should watch. Returning here in 2 months time and expecting 100k views, minimum. Linking this video to ours about shuffles in pinned comment too.
Great! I trully think it can help people mastering common shuffling methods.
I agree👍 becauae regardless of any1's particular skill level it's always good to touch up on the basics & even make sure that your not practicing incorrectly which results in bad habits & really can throw ya off in several different ways. I think every Cardist, Magician, etc. has their own handling they like to use but still nothing beats a "correct standard" ya know😉
I only recently learned that it is you who do the awesome editing of these Art of Play videos for the Buck twins & I think they've been very well done, very much appreciated✌️😀👍
Glad you showed some very unique shuffles too, not only the popular ones.
We do have a soft spot for the more obscure shuffles too.
Gods, this is the first time I saw that one hand riffle shuffle variation, so cool!
The One handed Table shuffle from Dai Vernon which Dave performed is my favorit! I think I will give a shot at learing that one as well as the Revel and the Scissor cuts.
I love how you guys are one upping each other and learning from each other.
I instantly grabbed a deck of cards to follow along. That upside-down riffle shuffle is way harder than it looks
I laughed out loud for the 52-card pickup! I had that trick played on me too many years ago to mention. I grew up in Nevada and we played cards all the time -- from a young age. I learned the riffle shuffle and bridge by the time I was about 10. Used to wow the grown-ups when we sat down to play Rummy.
the faro shuffle is one of my faviorets to do and love learning new flourishes
the old army box is so cool and somthing else to carry decks in ...awsome
art of play is coming out with some of the best series and educational videos
Hello D&D friends, one of the most productive videos on CZcams, I had never seen that it could be shuffled that way, thanks and greetings! ❤😂
So nice to see D&D shuffle cards! Brings back so much nostalgia :)
The masters of their craft
These are so fun to watch guys. Great way to spend my lunch and had to pause eating, wash the hands, and try some of these shuffles haha. Love the canister!!
That's fun! Happy to keep you company during lunch.
i love seeing old moves come to light in these videos. Really fun to watch one handed table faro and the butt shuffle. Amazing!
Thanks! Always fun to practice some of the more obscure moves.
Always enjoyable to watch Bucks handle cards!
I always thought you both new the same flourishes, but actually each of you learnt a couple which other Buck can't do, that's awesome! :D Idea for a future video, feature some more of those flourishes which only one of you can do and the other one could try and learn it LIVE :)
Great idea!
Thanks for the walkthrough, this was great. And of course it’s written in the cards that I’m going to win.
MUCH AWAITED!!!
Somewhere between 2006-2009, poker chip trick videos lead me to the "eye candy" trilogy spring jam teaser...and the rest is history. Miss all the video edits on CZcams especially the grind house Quentin Tarantino style one. Ahhh what a time
I’m always so comforted by your casual delivery in these episodes. I know how much dedication and frustration goes into making even ordinary moves look like they flow so simply. Thank you for continuing to encourage everyone to continue exploring and having fun 😊
Thanks for the tips on all theses shuffles. I needed a refresher on theses . Maybe I can finally get my faro shuffle down. Thanks guys.
Revel is a great flourish. I use it all the time
The Goats! That's the Zinedine Zidane's one handed shuffle 😉
It’s so great to see this. It’s the flourishes 102
ive never found a good tutorial for the one handed overhand shuffle and now i finally learned it.Have a great day
love those shuffles hope to see more guys
It is so nice to see you guys again. I grow up studying your material! Keep it rolling 😆
Those are very beautiful cards! Keep the good content coming!
for the last shuffle i expected Dave to show us his dance moves Party Rock Anthem Style.
Also very crucial to learn 😄
We only shuffle using our hands 😳
i remember learning most of these shuffles from the trilogy back in the days. hard to believe it's been 16 years already.
love that you guys are still putting out so much great content
Wow, time flies. Thanks for sticking with us for so long.
I thought you would throw in a few comedy shuffles (Washington DC shuffle....doesn't do anything) but you might scare away the novices. Excellent stuff as always. Thank you!
Yeah, great Shuffle Work👍
Hey. The Faro shuffle is something I've never put much practice into. XD Anyways, cool to watch and just chill along with.
Loved seeing all those shuffles together. Even the smallest thing- putting pressure down with your pointer finger while riffling- really helpful :)
You guys make the coolest, most unique decks and I love your modest and laidback vibe.
Cheers
Glad we can help. You’re so kind. Thank you!
Ah the sweet sound of card shuffling. Would personally recommend Dave's very last shuffle when in a tough situation (like your boss asking a question or something like that). Great content as always
It is so great to see you guys shuffle cards.. Smooth and satisfying..
I've been waiting for tutorial video from Dan & Dave for so long. Every minutes goes by in this video put a smile on my face. Please make more of this!!! And I'm gonna start practicing those moves
You are too kind. Thank you.
Love how there's always something new to learn watching you guys.
Nice video. Now lets see 13 unique ways to fan a deck of cards.
Great idea!
Thanks! I have never seen that last one on the table from Dai Vernon. Beautiful! :)
Wouldn't dream of seeing a tutorial by you both again. Still remember I first learnt shuffling cards from your vids a long long time ago!
That’s cool. Do you remember which exactly was the first you learned from us?
@@Artofplay omg thanks for the reply!!! It was about six to seven years ago - I can't remember the name of the set of tutorials, but it was about 20-episode long, covering almost all the basics of cardistry (from spread to grip to shuffle to cut). If I remember correctly, you were using the classic red smoke and mirrors in the tutorial!
Great tutorial list! I'll have to get on practicing the one handed faro. Big fan!!
Hay guys nice to see you back on u tube u guys are the best in cardisty I been a fan of u guys since I first saw ur channel back when I like other video where u showed 21 cardisty moves I tried most of ur card moves not easy but fun to learn and try thanks guys
Great video with a lot of interesting touches on the fundamental shuffles. Also some great cards.
Your dexterity is so impressive. Makes me feel like I have hammers for hands. Very cool.
There may or may not have been weeks of practice before we shot this video
way to go back to the basics you guys! awesome content as ever!
That’s an awesome canister.
It's been awhile that I haven't played with a deck and this gave this pure joy of just fidgeting with cards haha no precise goal but pure pleasure ! It's like taking a car ride on a hot summer day with all the windows open, just enjoying the fresh air ! Thanks guys !
Thanks for sharing these tricks! I'm interested in learning but do not know where to begin. This video surely helps! Great stuff guys :)
I wait for these videos to come out! I love your stuff and cards!!! You guys are amazing and your videos are like an antidepressant!!!
That’s very kind, thank you!
Great video. Faro was a game from the old days, that used what they called a banker. The dealer I believe was an actual faro dealer, that required shuffling as so.
Thank you for this video. I love shuffles and I definately learnt a few things.😃👌
Nice! Really specific instruction and very clear :) thanks for these :) time to tidy up my shuffles!
Great shuffles, great cards, cheers!
My head has exploded seeing some of these shuffles 🤯... As compensation, to alleviate the damage caused, I settle for this ammo box 😇🤗
I really enjoy this type of videos
it's always so satisfying watcing you guys shuffle cards 👌👌
i love that box!
Its inspiring to see all these different shuffles as I'm going back into cardisty!
Maybe one day my hands will figure out the faro shuffle. All your options give me hope though!
The faro is worth the practice and it’s the gateway into lots of other cool flourishes and shuffles
The one-handed Table Faro uses the same technique as when done with poker chips. Pretty cool!
Wow, now I HAVE to learn the farrow shuffle.😂
faro shuffle. you added 2 extra letters
The one handed table shuffle is awesome! Dave makes it look easy
This takes me back to the first time I watched the Trilogy!
Lovely video! I learned some new things. Thanks😊
Thank you, glad it was helpful
I've been wanting to pick up one of you guys magic surfaces ever since I saw Asad from 52Kards use one on his channel years ago. I will def have to grab one now!
This was so satisfying to watch! 🤤
legitimately need that canister!
Always love tutorial from you guys
This is my first time seeing Revel taught in detail. I like that variation of the overhand shuffle, but mine is so clumpy. It feels like a nice little fidget move to practice.
I already won a prize, hopefully somebody new will win this amazing giveaway.
I feel the same way. I have the Card Men book where that move is taught, but I’m much more of a visual learner, so it was really helpful seeing it explained.
@@JustinD-5150 Card Men looks like a good $20 purchase. Are there any trick recommendations? I don't have it, but might pick it up.
Amazing lesson guys! I knew a lot of those, but a few I've never heard of or never seemed to learn. Anyway, I had an amazing takeaway from this video! Thanks again!!!
That flourishy element added to the overhand shuffle looks great! Awesome idea, I'll be working on that immediately!
....aaaand now i have to learn cardistry...I can't wait!
I'm saving the video for later, I'll have to practice 😅
Just started this cardistry stuff so all tuition helps a lot.
Enjoy the journey ahead, lots of fun things to learn
These episodes are great keep them coming! It would be great to see your favorite ways to palm a card(s) 🤘🏽
I always love how you guys teach the small nuances and are so encouraging. Sharing this with so many others!
Thanks so much!
I thought I could shuffle, but then I watched this episode. Thank you for the tips and walk through very informative as well as entertaining. Have a great day and 4th!!!
Great video and techniques and beautiful decks
My mind is racing with so many ideas on shuffles. Thank you!
whatanamazing and instructional piece by thetrue masters of playing cards..i look foward to owing a magigcal mat some daywhich i believe will help improve my skills..thank you D&D!!
Great stuff guys, I'm very new to cardistry but I've been able to learn so much from you guys and others. Keep up the awesome work!
Welcome aboard!
i want that dream box so much :D
That was a lot of fun, and great to see the variants intertwined into the sequence.
Damn I need to learn that shuffle at 14:42 its so amazing😲😍
Shuffles are really interesting to me. Thanks for this video. I was trying to follow along and I was using an expired/used casino deck (you know with holes punched all the way through) Maybe it was my inexperience but maybe the deck I am using is not broken in enough or simply to stiff for these types of shuffles. Time to try out another deck to see! Keep on playin'!
Incredible video, I have never seen a more productive tutorial, incredible cards too... Greetings D&D from Oaxaca Mexico 👋🐠❤️
Thanks so much
This video was awesome, I think I could listen to the two of you riffing about sleights all day lol
I can’t wait to learn all these different ways to shuffle! Gonna need lots of practice but I’m sure I can get there 😊
The best video tutorial for shuffling I've seen so far, greetings D&D from Oaxaca Mexico 👋❤️🦋🐠
Love this
Love the tutorials! ❤
great episode!
Brings back so many fond memories, seeing you both like this. Hope we get to catch up again soon!
We would love that!
Awesome video and beautiful cards! I love how clean and precise the faro is and in all its variations and applications. Its amazing how a simple concept can unlock so many possibilities
Loving these tutorials!
Thanks! Anything else you'd be interested in learning?
Awesome video! I really enjoyed watching you guys handling/shuffling the cards. Both of you are such masters of your craft. Thank you for showing us all the different methods of shuffling. I know how to do some of what you showed, but there a bunch I haven't learned yet. I would definitely enjoy seeing more tutorial videos.
cool Video and so nice to watch
Thank you Dan and Dave!
I really hope to see more shuffling, palming, cardistry & sleight of hand tutorial/tip videos. This was fun to watch since I’m new to all this so I’m sure you two already know I could use the ammo for practice. haha
All jokes aside I appreciate your time and effort on the techniques, variations, explanations, cinematography and in depth walkthroughs.
You two are the true Cardfathers!
Back to Shuffling!
Always more to come, thanks for watching
