There's also the progesterone only IUD (intrauterine device) which is placed inside the uterus, and can be kept in for up to 8 years.
Then there's the no-hormone IUD which uses copper as a form of prevention, but can cause heavier bleeding during the menses.

does progesterone only help with pros?
What about a progesterone only pill with drospirenone? Doesn't it prevent ovulation as well?
So, if I had the contraceptive coil containing only progesterone, will that also not help with PMS? The same as the progesterone only injections?
For HRT I have a uterus I’m on an estrogen patch, but for my progestin , I am taking the mini pill Lyza, .35 mg a day. I hope that’s enough for menopause, I’m 53. Is Lyza okay? They are not giving me anything else, pills or topical
