What is ASMR? Why am I whispering?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.

I love the repair man. To me he is a character under the delusion that he is actually fixing something, he has a disorder of some sort and the Dr. allows for him to fulfill his craving to "fix" or fixate rather. He's not actually doing anything but fiddling, but the mumblings really pull you into his reality, that he once had a deeper more meaningful purpose to fix the world only to now be lost to his delusion. The Dr. awards him with medication to keep him leveled. This is my observation of him from all three parts. Maybe its just my imagination.

Sean Churchill I love Rift's characters and creativity, but I have to agree that the Repairman is the best! The combination of inaudible whispers and various "busy" sounds, plus the odd drinking/eating sounds, as well as the personal care aspect... they all add up to an excellent ASMR video for sleep. I haven't tried using ASMR to focus, but I bet the Repairman would be good for that too. It's all around just a perfect ASMR concept, encompassing many different types of triggers in a natural way.

the reason people think these are weird is because they are scripted acts, they're really high detail and quality though, keep it up
ER's stuff isn't actually scripted; there's definitely some planning involved, but the actual lines are ab-libbed.

The Arbitration that differs from video to video. I find it hard to believe that the opening part to prof. Clemmons asmr vid isn't heavily scripted, for example, while this video probbably isn't at all

Right around 13:50. Boom. The butterscotch (good choice my friend! My favorite candy!) Crinkling, the soft spoken mumbles, and the pen on that book just gave me the best tingles I've had in ages. Thanks Ephemeral Rift !

Xxx_ Swergy_xxX I've noticed that too lately. All the bots around me have cracks on their butt, including myself. I think at one point in our lifespan we excrete an enormous amount of waste from our bodies with a power force enough to crack our butts! This one time I saw this ladybot with a crack between her front appendages. Can you imagine? My only guess is that it's a new prototype model being tested and that's where they charge themselves up. There's also rumors that a malebot could insert his charging shaft into the ladybot's socket and exchange power. Though it's said to be quite noisy. Some would even exchange faster than others. I think that depends on how young the model is though.

I've always found myself mostly watching your videos with Corvus, and a few new, one-timer vids. But I have to say, I should have seen your Repairman ones sooner. These really help me relax better than most other artists. And I'm finding myself really appreciating this style. I'm going to sleep stress free tonight, thank you~

This series is amazing. I can't find anything else on CZcams that combines personal attention with focus/attention to detail to something routine like this. It never fails to trigger.

We seriously need new repairman video from ER! I always come back to these and they are the most effective way to get me to relax or to sleep! I just love it that you can barely make out what he's saying and it's just the way i like it because otherwise i would focus on to what he says and that prevents me from relaxing fully or trying to get some sleep 🤔😁

The only bad thing about the repairman series it the inaudible talking.
This fits my OC perfectly. HE is infected with the Sleeper of Avarrach virus, which converts parts of his body into robotics. There is a lot of detail, and a decent backstory, can post.

Okay i just wanted to share this, i think it would be really cool if lights flickered on and it showed you were in a tiny camera repair shop with broken cameras everywhere and weird tools. Then you quickly shut the light back off because you only work in the dark :]
