According to Fibo Lim, work-life integration is a must. Kayang pagsabayin ang trabaho at pamilya sa loob ng tahanan. Hindi siya limited lang sa 8 hours work day at within office premises lamang. Ang taong always available pagdating sa work ay siya magiging valuable, reliable, productive at successful. SIyempre kung ikaw ang customer, maiinip ka kaagad kapag hindi agad nasasagot ang tanong sa chat ng customer service agent. Baka maghanap pa iyan ng ibang tindahan. Ayaw mo siyang pakawalan. Sayang ang kikitain ng company.

When saying quality time with family, bakasyon lang ba ang sukatan nun? How about sitting with them and letting them share either their (tiny and insignificant) successes and failures in life? How about hanging out with friends for 'some time' talking about silly things in life? How about joining meals with them and sharing them your stories and struggles in your business and life? I don't think we can't wait for 6 months as a lot of things may happen within that time frame. Aanhin pa ang mga baka-bakasyon na yan kung hindi na sila sanay mag-open up sa'yo at hindi kana sanay humingi ng tulong sa kanila even for your struggles in business. I don't think magagamot ng baka-bakasyon na yan ang 'deeper connection' na mawawala mo with family and friends.
I agree with that work-life integration that you've proposed. What I don't agree is that 'you can sacrifice your family and social life for business for just a couple of months. Maraming mangyayari sa 6 months, maraming kwento yun, marami kang mami-miss. 6 months is already long enough to loose connection and intimacy with them. And believe me sir, once the connection is severed, mahirap na yun ibalik.. kahit ilang pera at luho pa ibubuhos mo.. kahit mag-aksaya ka pa ng pera pambakasyon... di na madaling maibabalik yung connection na yun kung di na kayo sanay 'makinig at makipag-usap' sa kanila.
