Very Educational. Thank You Shawn
Shawn, I needed a refresher for doing layers and watched your video. Fantastic. It's so refreshing to have instructions using FREE version of DS. You're a good teacher and I'm looking forward to watching the videos listed in your very generous email from this morning. I really appreciate you. Thank you!!!🎉❤
Thank you so much! Your comment made my day!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL. I have an order with the character Droopy and it’s so hard to find the SVG of the exact picture the client wants on his t-shirt. But your video helped me out so much.
Cricut really stepping their game up. Got my press, cricut and now a Epson eco et 4800. You just made it better breaking that down. Thank you again Shawn.
First Time Cricut user! My husband got it for me on Mothers day. I have subscribed to your channel for all the great information you give! I do have one question on this video. I got my image layered with my colors but how to I print it in seperate layers so I can transfer them to combine it all into the multicolor decal. Do you have another video that explains that. I was unable to tell by browsing the titles you have for your videos. Thank You for any help!
I am so happy you found me and my tutorials! Let me know if you would be interested in some of my classes. I have a new one just for Print then Cut projects!
Now, back to your question. When the pieces are in colored layers, the Cricut will automatically sort them so that all of the things that are the same color will be on the same cutting mat.
Then, once cut, you will need to layer them back together. I show this process in a video I did with the Grinch. See if that helps czcams.com/video/pA8sirAHh4E/video.html
@@TheShawnMosch Thank You for the information. I will probaby look into some classes soon when everything calms down. We are so busy with work so I will need to find the time. Just happen to have a staycation this week!!
So we can still upload SVG Files. I noticed that you uploaded the whole SVG (bee). Together. Befor we had to upload one layer at a time. Also there is an erase tool is that available on the convas? Or just in the beginning before convas. I really need that tool. Lol
You can still upload SVG files, but those would go right to the canvas if I remember right since they are defaulted to a cut file. What I was uploading in this image was a PNG file.
If you were uploading something one layer at a time, then that was probably a PNG file.
There is no erase tool on the design canvas. I use slice or contour if I want to get rid of things.
