The way you effortlessly switched and stick to the seat is definitely impressive..... My biggest problem is I find it hard to stick to the seat without tensing up my body and sitting trot is especially hard

I’m a bit late but that’s okay. My problem has been knowing which leg they are on but I’m getting a bit better day by day :)

Does anyone have tips for cantering circles in general… my horse is 6 to 7 and refuses to canter circles and even just turning in my arena if we come down one side and get to the corner she stops and walks the corner and then will pick up trot and eventually canter if I ask
I would really appreciate some help

Try riding closer to the middle and get him away from the fence to build more control and confidence. You could also try having a whip with you, that you can lay on the outside shoulder to push the shoulder away from the fence. I would also suggest lounging the horse more frequently. And if nothing of this works I would suggest you looking for another bit, it doesn’t matter how “cruel” it may sounds but strong horses need strong bids and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Hope this helped😊

@@majmichelapleidrup1974 Stronger bits is never the answer, sometimes the problem is the rider. If you are doing nothing wrong, then check their health problems. If all is clear, try doing lunging work in canter with your horse. Groundwork groundwork groundwork

@@spyinsecret0075 And sometimes the problem is the bit. Its good to explore your options and see which bit suits your horse. of course you'll need to do some groundwork to see if theres something else that needs work on. But if the bit you have now IS causing some problems it is good to find something more suited. Some horses are fine with a snaffle bit, and some horses might need a stronger bit. Of course you don't go off and buy a bit you've never heard off, its great to do research, i've noticed it comes in handy when you have horses 🤣🤣. No hate towards you or anyone tho you're completely right! :)
