Sorry, but you can't convince me that he's someone that was known for corny bars. Like I said, his technical ability has never been questioned but his pen was suspect many times. However, I didn't feel like that at all during the latest freestyle. Even the last single had a sense of acknowledgement for his craft that things were changing and he was putting his foot down.
Has zero, ZERO to do with being woke enough to 'get' him.
Big Sean is really letting the raps talk nowadays. His previous work has some “corny” bars here and there. But as of late, I like the approach he takes with his music. He’s unlocked that potential I wanted Logic to reach.
