In the beginning of 2004 my Dad had a 4 way bypass. Being from a small town we had to travel to a big city and stay in a hotel for 2 weeks during his operation/recovery. My Mom bought me this DVD while we were there! I watched it every day, it got me through those 2 weeks

This song popped into my head randomly, it's probably been 15 years since I last thought of this movie. Binging the whole soundtrack now. Movie was okay; a bit surreal but a solid enough family flick with some laughs, but the whole soundtrack is criminally underrated. This studio hasn't put out anything that approaches the heartfelt lyrics or charming tunes in years... nor, really, has the actual country music industry. Thanks for sharing these tracks - adding to my rotation, a wonderful breath of fresh air.
