I was so obsessed with this song when I was young. Still a very catchy. I love both the original romantic Elvis version and this adorable A-Teens version equally.

I remember my dad playing the Elvis Presley song (original) before the movie came out. When I heard this on the Lilo and Stitch credits, I recognized the lyrics. To this day my dad still sings to my mom.

Nice choice. I totally agree with your choice. I listened to about two other versions, but this version by A-teens satisfies my taste. Surprisingly I never liked Disney that much as a kid.
I feel like this song won my vote because the original one was okay.But it was a bit too slow for my taste this matches it I fell it love with this once I heard it!

+cutemimi25 You're really not alone lol. I actually prefer this version over Elvis' honestly. Mostly because I grew up hearing this version, but I also just like how they did it. I think it works better as a cutesy pop song than a slow love devotional song... it has so much more energy and meaning this way I think. I will admit though, the only slow version of this song that I think works is the one sung by Diego Luna in The Book of Life.. it's not the whole song, but I feel more of a connection to it when he sang slow, it that when Elvis did.

I remember this song, I'm glad I found it and listening to it again. Thanks to Lilo and Stitch! I knew this song was familiar when I watched Lilo & Stitch! I will never forget this memory that I had since I was little... ^^
When we were little, maybe 6 or 7, my best friend and I used to watch Lilo & Stitch every time we saw each other. We'd rewind the tape back to the beginning and play this as loud as the television would let us-we'd always end up fighting over who got to be the pretty brunette one, and who got the most attractive-looking guy there. Still, to this day, this is one of our favourite songs and it's an amazing reminder of out friendship that's still going strong 8 years later. ♥

I remember an interview with these kids in Disney Adventures where they said they were scared to take on this song because they were worried it wouldn't "measure up" to the Elvis classic. So they approached it as if the song were originally written for them, instead of trying to surpass the original.
