- In this video I show you how to install an armrest into your car. It's not too hard and doesn't take long so it's a nice mod for you to do to your car.

The armrest linked above is not the one I bought in the video. The seller I bought mine from no longer have anymore listed so I've just found another which is the same as the one I have and put the link to those instead.

I've got a 2010 Polo 6r 1.6TDI and my car has an armrest from factory. I didn't know there were versions without them

Have you considered changing the head unit to one of the RCD330 units? That’s what I’ve got an order so I can use CarPlay

I haven't really looked into head units all that much as I dont think I'd really use it much even if I did change it. But i might change it in the future just for the sake of doing it lol.

If you were to fill the box At 4:45 before screwing the Cover, and were to glue the part goes into the original cupholder, wouldnt that makellos ist more stable and less shaky?

Yeah, if you could screw the armrest to the centre console of the car that would make it more sturdy. It might still wobble a bit but it would be a bit firmer.
A bit wobbly though.. must be shaky when driving the car.
When driving it doesn't wobble, only when you touch it, it will wobble. If you rest your arm on it while driving the weight of your arm also keeps if from wobbling.
In a future video I'll see if I can get it to be very firm so it doesn't wobble at all 😁
How much price, where is shop
It's from ebay. If you type in vw polo 6r armrest a lot of them should show up 👍 they vary in price but it should be around £25 - £40
It doesnt look reliable or comfort it moves a waste of moneg
For the price you pay it isn't as bad as you'd think. I'd prefer have it than not have it

That looks a shit design ? ..... There is a small cup holder on the back of the armrest, so don't try and put the car keys in there - maybe try a cup ? ... Not a bad colour match with your seats is all I can say !!
