Making a Braided Rag Rug

- I have had a large bag of fabric scraps and old clothes hanging around in my closet for a while now, just accumulating more and more scraps over the years. The intention was to use them for a project such as this, and I've finally done the thing! The end result was a bit wonky and kind of an awkward size. But overall I am happy with it, and I love how colorful it is!
There are many ways to make a thing and this is just the way I have found works for me.

Absolutely beautiful! And thanks for the great tips on preparing fabrics.
Wow!
That music, the weaving and the break you took to watch the snow falling. The only one other time I have been this calm was probably 22 years old, before stepping into this world. Listening to the "GREEN GREEN GARDEN" is a probably a must at least once a day from now! Thank you
Wow! Gorgeous and inspiring as I sit beside a mile high pile of old sheets and clothing!
Gorgeous! I love the square and this tutorial makes it seem so accessible-thank you
Brilliant and beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤
Love the music and visual instruction, easy for me to follow, thanks 🙏🏼❤
Oh my goodness, that is absolutely incredible! 😍
That is so beautiful! I can't wait to learn
Thanks, great tutorial and I enjoyed the snow break too! Xx
I pick up as many tshirts as I can from yard sales and I use them in other projects and craft I do. This would be such a good way to use them.
I loved your rug!
Excelente tutorial, gratidão!
thank you very much for your tutorial that was easy to follow, first one I've come across I want to do. Thanks!
This came out SO GOOD, it's so pretty I'm obsessed..also love the choice of music.

Браво, Мастер!!! 🌹🌹🌹👍
Очень красиво у вас получилось!!
I love this tutorial! I always thought these rugs would be harder to make. May I ask though, how much yardage of braiding did you use and what was this rug finished size?
My daughter is asking me to make her one like this for my granddaughter in a very specific space and I'd like to make sure I have enough fabric. Thanks!
I have the same questions! It's such a great project, but I need to know if I have enough fabric scraps. I'd definitely like a finished project that is at least as big as hers. So nice!
Замечательная работать ❤
Wow, so happy to have found you!. I have been looking for mat 2 metres Sq in beachy colours but haven't found one. Do you think it would be possible to make one that big please??. I can sew but wondering if it would be too much?
I've a huge pile of fabric in beachy colours to make a rug but had no idea x
Love this tutorial and the music is charming! I have what is probably a dumb question, but if you wanted to make it more rectangular than square, would you start of with a longer first...overlap (not sure what that's called--the first two "rows" of braid that you zigzagged together at 3:01)? Or would that just make a bigger square? Oh! And I love how to continue a length of fabric without having sew them. Nice and efficient! Thank you!!
Ii was wondering how square rugs were made thanks
Which number needle is needed for rug making.
What size zigzag did you use
Nise mam thank you
