Disney doesn't transfer old content onto newer home video releases, and the Lazerdisc has SO MUCH material there for animation enthusiasts to love. With Streaming behind the scenes content as a companion piece to their movie experiences may happen less and less.
Lazerdiscs are old, and the machine I have is probably not going to last long. I wanted to preserve the footage by putting it on the Internet for everyone to be able to enjoy.
A disclaimer; A lot of the material here is a matter of scrolling left to right, so the pacing to view materials may be a bit fast. Keep close to that pause button. Not all of the content is recorded because a lot of it exists on current or past DVD releases that are more readily available, rest assured This will be part of a playlist accumulating several hours of content by the end of it!

Thank you so much for reuploading this and the other special features. These are almost 2 and a half hours of precious information that is in danger of being lost if it is not preserved.

which is hilarious because today, wouldn't this entire movie erupt in general religious controversy?
back when frozen came out in 2013 i distinctly remember reading an open letter from some priest/preacher/whoknows condemning disney for "promoting homosexuality" merely because of the absence of heterosexual love present for 1 out of 2 of their leading ladies.
The ABSENCE of ANY sexuality sent people into a tizzy, just imagine them today at the existence of a disney movie that actively points out the s3xual predation and r@cist terrorism that the church has been/is capable of.
Yeah, im sure Bob Iger wasn't "into" this getting a remake ☠

Do you know more about Disney avoiding controversies in animated features?
@@shanandersson1779 outside of like... the animals not talking in Pocahontas were because "this is a serious subject matter" (via the audio commentary in the 10th anniversary DVD) but not any off the top of my head.
I just know that it was silly for them to think that comparatively cosmetic decision was gonna outweigh all of the other stuff that ultimately STILL trivialized the darkness of the true history thereby making pocahontas their most controversial movie period.

Good job. You uploading these laserdisc to let us see the bonus features and the art galleries of the character designs and background artwork is inspiring. I would wonder if you can perhaps try to take full screenshots with the screencap key and then High Digitalize every screencap from every background art, every artwork, and every finished design of the model sheets of the characters or props, I bet you can use them to inspire others when posting them on facebook, tumblr, or even on Deviantart. It's just a suggestion.
It was inspiring of how they had to use character designs art, for the characters from the major characters, to the supporting characters, to the very minor background characters, but I could hardly see the model sheets clearly, it's like they seemed a bit blurry due to the brightness of the screen.
It was more due to the chromatic aberration. Even on my TV it would appear that way. Eveb worse because the image would shake slightly

I usually Watched Disney's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 1 and 2 in 🇺🇲English and Spanish 🇲🇽
Though I hope you like my suggestion of capturing screencaps of some of the artwork, mainly the screencaps, though you can post your computer on the TV to help out and even try to have the images look clear or better.

can you buy the 1997 european french laserdisc of oliver and company? it has the orignal 1988 theatrical print and the 1985 disney logo, not the 1990 one from the US. So far i found the vhs version/ czcams.com/video/rbq8O18LJ9A/video.html
most of these images don't show up anywhere else

As far as I know the sleeping beauty one doesn't have extra features that don't exist elsewhere. But I can check again . Cinderella does. I recently acquired that one
