Hi Jan. glad I found your channel. Trying to fix a fuel tank problem also on my 1989 200 that I am restoring. Liked and subbed. Bly om nog Afrikaners te sien op CZcams
Hi, i have this same problem with my -07 c180 kompressor, what is the size of that hose ? Im gonna replace it very soon, is it just basic hose wich u can get from almost anywhere or do you need to buy exact same hose with number ? I guess its about 14 or 16mm size ?
@@jankotze1959 thanks, im going friday to my friends garage to fix the leak. Yesterday i changed front brake hoses, it was pretty easy and quick job. 👌
while you're under there with everything stripped out, why not replace the filter. i wouldn't attempt any job like this without the thought of changing service parts.
Soybeen Farmer for 95 octane it is 13 rand per liter, in your currency about 1 dollar, Diesel is about the same, thanks for the comment and yes it is a rubber hose.

Hi you need to ask for fuel pipe at the motor shop, you cut the size of you want, they sell per meter, I think is 8mm inside
