This was so awkward I felt for Callum. I hope this storyline ends soon I’m very tired of it. We already know they will eventually get back together anyway.
There’s a lot of unresolved issues Molly seems really angry. There’s genuine feelings and hurt involved. I actually wish they do go couples therapy lol. Would have really helped!
I completely understand this situation between Molly and Callum because I have just lived it and managed to get through it. People saying that they should be having this conversation privately don't understand that what Toby said about talking in a group setting is true. Sometimes you need other people around to guide the conversation in the right direction and ask the right questions. When you are alone, the anger and resentment get in the way and the conversation just doesn't flow in a good direction. So then it is difficult to get to the bottom of the issue.
Molly and Callum clearly still love each other. They absolutely NEED couples therapy!
- Molly needs Callum to give her words of affirmation because that's her love language.
- Callum only said Molly is high maintenance because she requires these things which HE does not require. So he doesn't understand why she needs it. They need to learn each other's love languages and try to compromise. Molly needs to expect less and Callum needs to give a little more.
- Callum is a logical thinker, as most men are. They are problem solvers. But women don't want their problems to be resolved. They just want an understanding ear to listen to them express how they feel and not invalidate their feelings.
- Callum is not an emotional person, as most men are not. But women typically are. They tend to take things personally. So words of affirmation, especially during conflict really do help a woman to be calmer and more reasonable.
- Molly laughing every few seconds does not mean she is laughing AT Callum or trying to be rude. It seems like a coping mechanism. Maybe if she didn't laugh she would cry.
They both started taking each other for granted because they are both strong-minded and expect the other person to compromise. This is the problem. They BOTH have to compromise. There is no other solution. If they don't both accept that they BOTH have to change a little, they will take these issues into the next relationship with someone else.

Oh my goodness! So spot on. I’m exactly the same, I’ve experienced this type of relationship dynamic so I totally understand Molly’s viewpoint. I also do the awkward laughing thing as a coping mechanism.

Why feel sorry for a grown man? He’s the one that ended the relationship in the first place so Molly is allowed to feel some type of way. And for Callum to be so nonchalant and ask her “do you still fancy me” is a give in to start some mess.

I’m sorry but after watching that I don’t agree with how molly acted.
