Sir both of you are the very eminent person of our country and your talk are very valuable assets for us but if is it possible for you to talk mix Hindi and English or add Hindi subtitle it would be more beneficial for many college going Student ( specially law ) or other people .

At one point in discussion Sibal asks Shashi Tharur to in turn ask Modi what has he done to make the younger generation skilled professionals, which is very surprising because he himself held the portfolio of education in the UPA government! Why didn't he do anything at that time????
the idea of having a spokesperson for the India Alliance is a good one, instead of seeing fragmented.
Both met the standard of conversation, opening their minds, agreeing to each other, ultimately agreeing to party politics, sharing the loot of it's evils. The message from INDIA alliance is so sweet to the ears of it's audience, to prompt whom to vote.

If anyone tries to organize around a single religion and exploit it for their political gain, it's natural for other religions to organize in response to protect their interests. The best approach is to establish one law for all and adhere strictly to it, ruling the country without corruption. Providing equal opportunities to all citizens without favoritism based on religion is essential.

If other countries have Christian or Islamic ceremonies in their political and government sessions, why do we have a problem India proudly celebrating the Hindu practices? If it’s not allowed in the constitution, it should be amended.
Religion is integral part of any country for preserving culture and heritage. If India - Bharat does not celebrate Hinduism, which other country would? Hinduism is born in India.
Leave politics aside, recently I traveled in a middle eastern airlines, they have Islamic prayers in the airplane played during take off. Which Indian airlines does the same with a Sanskrit shloka? And if someone starts putting it, that will also be a controversy.
Which school is celebrating Saraswati puja in India?
Why don’t we have Hindu based schools like we have Convents and Islamic schools?
So if Hinduism is being openly celebrating and practices what is the problem? If we openly celebrate, practice, teach, learn, include Hinduism in government and private sectors of India, it will be bare minimum. Teachings of Hinduism if taught rightly will also bring Dharma. If we debate on the aspect of practicing Hinduism the Dharma can never be realized.
Now other religions might think this is wrong. Then when those religion people live in other western countries, they don’t have an issue with the law of that country. Only India in the name of secularism, pseudo liberalism, and freedom of speech, people have all kind of concerns.
As a youth of India either:
- Teach ALL religions in ALL schools. Let students choose which they want to.
- Religious ceremonies need to be integral part of Public and Private sector
- Split castes into separate religions so that the whole scam around reservations is nullified once and for all. Why do Brahmins suffer the most? Their population is lesser than so called minorities…
Or,
- Remove ALL Religions based schools in India
- Raise voice against other countries who have religion based ceremonies
- Raise voice against classes in society in other countries
NOW, about future and real problems about development:

Whichever political party is elected the people of our Country and the Rich people of our Country should also think with a Socialist way. And that can ONLY come if there are good religious teachings. The weird situation of India is Capitalism with no morality. People are working so hard at all levels. I think religion at core public level is critical. Modi’s India with Hinduism is bringing back the glory and understanding of the culture. Ideally this should have been not lost during Congress governance. Their appeasement towards other religions is the cause to this polarization. I also request non Hindus to understand and be fare. Once there is acceptance that India is primarily a Hindu country by all religions, then this will stop becoming a topic of discussion forever and we can focus on other issues.

This is a very good discussion. Only one concern, just like you examine how secular Hinduism is, could you also please run this analysis on Islam? Will Islam truly “accept” practices of Hinduism as equally divine?

There are 2 issues here.
1.The central idea of how religion should be handled by state is western construct imposed on eastern society. This won't work here. The idea of secularism is inherited from french revolution, where church was power center, while In India, Temple was never power center, it is majorly place of worship and most of time king takes care of temple welfare. That's why imposition of french idea is not working in here. When Modi is working to create kashi corridor, kedarnath reconstruction or building ram temple in ayodya, reference is with older kings who used to take care of temples.
2. PM/Ruler should be secular is also western idea. Indian idea is ruler should be humble and religious. It is not just to show and win hearts of people , but also believe in supreme power and authority above him/her. Modi is doing it perfectly, even Rahul gandhi tried, but couldn't do it like him and failed miserably. Congress and other non BJP parties are happily religious when they attend iftar and celebrate eid and take advantage of Islamic structure of votes using religious organisations, so this kind of double standards are making hindu votebank to shift towards BJP. If you are secular, be secular everywhere.
Another thing I want to point out here is idea of Mr. Sibbal that India is secular because of migrants coming here from ages and not because of hinduism is futile exercise of belittling hinduism. Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan also saw lot of migrants due to same territory, but they do not believe in pluralism because of migration in past. It's only because of Hinduism which believes in pluralistic thought, India is largest democracy in the world and always will be, No political party or politician can change it. Election after emergency is very well received by Indira gandhi that India is not Indira, its way beyond that.
Congress has intellectual crowd but their ideology is problematic. Dr. Tharoor is exception, I feel he is in wrong party.

Most unfortunate that the opposition is in absolute disarray unmindful of the cataclysm that is staring the country if Modi returns to power. Sibal is right in pointing out the debalitated state of our opposition parties which are self centred, egoistic and traversing without direction.
Already in these ten years substantial damage has been inflicted on our institutions, federalism, plurality and harmony. These assaults can only gain greater ascendency if Modi returns to power.
