That was a good price on all those parts . Liking your ideas for all this.
Love the outside of the building. Could you please put some air in the tires of the Chevy in the background? 😂
It goes flat in a day. LOL
Its only flat on the bottom
Another great episode Anthony..😎👍💯..
👋 Julie....
The truck is coming along 👍👍
nice score at the junkyard cant wait to see the rearend done.
This build is turning into a must watch for me. I'm anxious every Wednesday for your video. Just to see what progress has been made.
What a deal on used parts.I love shopping wrecking yards --- keep that guy happy! --- budget looking great too!
Nice score at the salvage yard!
Coming along Nicely Antony Great Deal on all the parts
Nice purchase Anthony!
With your connection with the wrecking yard maybe you can find a straight rail frame for the trailer ,and save money...just thinking...
Fun you say that. I already have one sitting here!
Eggsellent! I'm just sayin I'd watch live feed of you guys working on it.
Heck yea man you got some nice pieces for pretty cheap, this is getting so cool, I can see it hauling Hookers and Blow down the interstate already!!
I can't wait!
Hey Anthony,
Cool score at Pipers.
I would so love to find stacks like that for a rat Mack that is coming together here.
I keep thinking about the tail gate and tail lights for the trailer.
I need to get some drawings made to bring by.
Progress is happening !
Like the parts you got from the junk yard, and your plans
That was a good deal on the bags.
I love watching this build and appreciate what an artist you are.
Thank you very much!
Looking good!
Drop the steps and front fenders to get the full slammed affect ..or a different air bag to give u the drop u kneed
Heck yeah man. You made some smokin deals on your air ride system. I see this truck on the cover of truckin magazine when it is finished 😊
Are they still in print?
@@HardCoreFab 🤔 good question. Turns out that the crappy Moyer trend group discontinued it after they purchased it in 2019. 😡
You will still be on the cover of a magazine. Maybe National Geographic lol. Kidding. This truck is turning out sweet.
@@MillCreekFabShop lol
This is going to be so cool 😎
love it bro.interesting.
I'm sorry bro I like your videos the truck that you are doing I'm looking for one just the same but you're talking a little bit too much on your video instead of doing the work and talking sorry don't mean no disrespect
Most semi bags are rated for 20,000 pounds. The only switch out would have is a drop switch. Nice score! Keep in mind the level valve is pretty picky on rod length. If not correct on length it could cause the bags to pop up when unloaded. Like unhooking the trailer or unloading. In my trucking world those plastic air coiled lines are not very reliable. I would switch them over to rubber air lines.
I was thinking about putting the level valve and the switch from the truck on the trailer
@@HardCoreFab that would work. Could make loading easier to when you dump the bags
@thercbarn5001 100 % and raise the back of truck for loading
Keep in mind that those bags won't require as much air pressure. I had a set under my 1 ton, and 10psi was about right with a steel flatbed and no load. You may never see 40 psi. You can run the semi leveling valve and tee to both bags, and it should have an air pilot controlled dump valve. Both cheap and easy available at most truck parts supply. I have a p30 chassis in the field. I believe that it is 1 ton spindles and hubs with adapter plates.
Yeah I was guessing 20 psi. LOL I was thinking about putting the level valve and the switch from the truck on the trailer just to make it easy to plumb. Do you have 8 lug or 10 lug wheels on your p30?
@@HardCoreFab I believe they are 10 lug 19.5
@@HardCoreFab If it ends up too bouncy with the lower air pressure, You can add some antifreeze to the air bags to take up some air space. The less air space in the bag raises the pressure faster with the axle travel, resulting in a higher spring rate.
Great deal on the system
I keep drooling on the stepside in the background. Would it have a price tag. Or could you j7st move it! Lol😂😅
LOL I've had that for a few years. I put it there so I would have to keep looking at it and make me do something with it.
@@HardCoreFab lol. I hope you do something cool with it as well.
You need to get a white dry erase board and write down everything you buy for the truck. Making it easier to keep a total on.
You should do stepped a arms. cut the ball joints off move them up 2" weld them up and put plenty of gussets. You can also narrow the arms while you're in there.
I was trying to avoid doing that with all the weight that will be siting on them. Plus the C50 fender sticks out past the rest of the body so if i did anything I would need to widen it
The build is super cool you do awesome work just started watching you
Thank you and thanks for watching
The bags should be rated for 12k at 120 psi
I have a 1983 chevy p30 with ifs. I have drop spindles for a 83 chevy 1 ton truck. They do work
Do you have 8 lug or 10 lug wheels?
@@HardCoreFab 8 lug. 8-6.5
Anthony, if you can, when this is a driver, give us a road test- your application goes to some thoughts I have on using air bags.
Will do for sure!
You should at least buy that dude from the recycling yard a steak and lobster dinner and a handy.😂
LOL
Getting a lot done for not a lot of money.
got a ideal on your air ride switches use levers like rad rod bob did on one of his last pick up builds
That's an Idea
Weston suspension or weston chassis sell drop spindles
Must use the “T” or you will controlling only 1 bag if you don’t with the leveling valve
I was thinking about putting the level valve and the switch from the truck on the trailer
AIR HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off the crashed semi.
The camper the chassis came from had some I saved!
Love that U use old parts, save money 💰 not like those Hollywood videos I told u it was going 2 B A BADASS wish it was a crew cad 😢 with sleeper and trailer
@freddysoto7021 crew cab and sleeper would be cool, but man, it's already a 15 foot wheel base and I do want to drive it.
On your rear trailing arms and other rod and misc what you think it cost ball park$ for material
Should the semi truck shock rebound after compression like a regular car shock ?
This style of shock has no gas charge inside so it will not extend on it's own
Agree with the last guy all talk Video, Wish you would say if it is going to be a talk show instead of working on the truck Been to junk yard before and gotten parts and know how that works but you got a cool new shop but it seems you talk a lot more where you use say let’s go to work, Still a great build and a cool truck but want to see you build something
So how’s that plumbing coming along?
Bathroom will be done Monday
More work less talk sorry
