I think the game is more chaotic than I prefer and it can be frustrating because I can't play like I normally do, but it's cool to see something different in the game.
now this is understandable and agreeable in some ways. i love the chaos too but it feels TOO chaotic at SOME points. but i still love it & i can get used to it

I remember when Zero Builds first dropped as a separate mode and a bunch of the build sweats were complaining about it and wanting Fortnite to remove it with hashtags like “Don’t take the Fort out of Fortnite” and would call people bad at the game if they preferred Zero Builds. In actuality now more people are playing Zero Builds over the standard mode and it’s a vast majority of Build players who hate the mode is because in Zero Build you have to be more aggressive and play more strategically as you can’t spam build to protect yourself.
Ngl whilst I do hate sweat wanting everything to be needed there’s something about building that makes Fortnite so fun and different, and I played both game modes extensively through out my time playing and I gotta say that I prefer builds more. Zero build is much more tactical, you have to adapt how you play each situation based on your surroundings, load out, and other things, but after a while it just gets kinda boring.
You're just absolutely clueless. More people play builds than zero builds and all zero build tournaments are won by build pros
we dislike it cuz fortnite prioritizes it they don't update build at all ive completely quit because of this season, what made fortnite possible was its simple smooth gameplay and BUILDING, building in a battle royale was never seen before and it blew fortnite up, maybe put all of this in zero builds and keep builds simple and smooth?
All I’m hearing is “Fuck fundamental building mechanics because cars are cool.” It’s unplayable because the battle royale has changed to the point where the MAIN ASPECT OF THE GAME IS RENDERED USELESS. You guys say we should adapt, but these metas have gone too far. If y’all have questions on why we hate this season, ask me.
I’m also not playing the game outside of tournaments until the game is fixed in our favor

@@donkeyqq from what I’ve seen, all the mythic cars apart from megalo don’s car don’t have bullet proof tires, so you can shoot their tires off and force them to get out. As for megalodons car, crossbow the driver or you’re cooked
I feel like they should give the fists a stunning effect when they smack into cars, kind of like and emp, it would stun the cars, making them immobile for 5 seconds and making any structure damage to them multiplied, forcing the people driving to ditch it for that fight.
They're add-in a graple,gun,THAT clings on to car,it's teased in loading screen Peabody loading screen, it's like a hook,,when your surfing it's be like that,that attaches to cars,probs in next update
I've loved this season, and I'm also tired of people complaining about weapons being to overpowered only for them to be nerfed and then the community complains again. This is one of the many reasons why this community is so unbearable sometimes.

It's not about adapting....some people just find it boring to be driving around the whole game and feel no satisfaction in getting kills/winning when using OP cars. I'm just going to avoid this season but happy other people are having fun with it. Just not for me.
My life is shattered. My wife has left me, taken the kids, my dog died, I lost my job, my parents disowned me, my uncle touched me, and my house was destroyed by a meteor. All because Fortnite added a car that i cant spam build to protect myself from. A true tragedy.
Genuinely, if you watch people's gameplay, you will notice how they NEVER just shoot, they ONLY build, it's actually insane

I am a casual but more on the competitive side so i play rank etc and i keep dying to cars but regardless of that, it's epic fault for not just pleasing both sides but having two different lootpools for pubs and ranked. I prefer to play with guns and ofc the building aspect( i don't overbuild) but other people should be able to play pubs with all the fun crazy things. They reason you cannot just shoot back is because you cant read a players mind especially with the sprinting which you pretty much cannot hear and you expect someone to just read that and shoot back? The fists also just completely deal more dmg than the marshmallow pump and you get knocked around your box which makes it very difficult to kill the person. This just shows that ranked should have a dif loot pool from pubs even more...... sadly epic games doesnt want to do that.

But the main issues with it, is the sweats complaining about how rubbish/op the cars are.

Im tired of people complaining about other peoples opinions on the season. In all fairness, chaos is too much for people somtimes, and also, if you dont like the comp commintiy then WHY BE INVOLVED WITH IT, im not a comp player, but seeing everyone whine over opinions they dont agree with pisses me off. Its fine if someone doesnt want to play this season because of everything but theres no reason to shame them over it

As a No Builds Players and someone who barely engages with Competitive the right way, this video misses the mark of what Pros are saying and presents odd solutions.
Worst offender I saw is telling Ninja, a No Builds player, that he didn't box up in No Builds. Don't get me wrong, Ninja has cringe takes but telling him to box up and then moments later in the video telling Pros to not box up? What are we doing?
Also, you should really play the clips so we can see what they are. Having full context of the problem brought up by someone would be great.
This video comes across as you're upset at a situation you don't fully understand which is fine if you don't but I recommend you actually talk to Pros and Ranked players cuz I totally see why they'd hate this season.

I legit DO NOT CARE about what comp players think, they are the reason half the time that all the fun whacky stuff in the game gets taken out because they cry about it too much and cant play the game to just enjoy and have fun, this season is definitely off to a fantastic start in my opinion, just non stop Adrenaline pumping action every match, there's no stop to it and i LOVE it, this is exactly the type of gameplay i love and why i love this game for what it is. Ive enjoyed every chapter and every season but this one is definitely in my top favorites so far! The comp players can go cry all they want while us "casual" players are enjoying the chaos and fun 😎👍

Personally, I'm having a blast, love the whole desert biome, and if things ACTUALLY need to be nerfed/buffed, Epic, per usual will step in a do something about it.

This season be creating a civil war in the fortnite community.
zero builds it’s amazing, it’s so fun and chaotic. this season is such an upgrade from last season, haven’t had this much fun in a season in awhile. the nitro fists aren’t hard to combat, if you have decent aim you’ll kill someone spamming them and if a car is spraying you just get in the car and shoot it or carry shockwaves/nitro fists and run.
I agree with when they’re in the air, but when they’re up close and personal, that punch combo is way too effective. Like each punch advances them forward a bit, making it so it’s impossible to aim a gun at them in time due the fact that they can close the distance so fast. I think the punch combo should be slowed down a tad, and a little delay after the combo finishes
The car has infinite fuel and has a weapon on top of it... Plus if we are talking ab adapting, you play zero builds bc you didnt want to get better at building.

Ok @clen- the people that are complaining in the pro player / rank community our people complaining about it being in ranked , they don’t care if it is in pubs , but in the pro scenario I 100% agree on the cars not being in it or just a nerf in the rank modes that’s all , leave it how it is in the pub game modes
When I die in a match its because of the way I played, it was my SKILL issues. I learn from my mistakes. NOT because of these items being "to hard to counter" or "unfair game advantages". You know what I mean? I love this chaotic season

The best solution would be if the community came together like an actual community, and started vocally asking for changes that would benefit both casuals and comp players. In this case for example, we should be asking Epic for separate loot pools for pubs and ranked, so anyone who doesn't want to deal with the chaotic stuff doesn't have too. But instead, the community chooses to divide itself and vilify each other. Then again, most of the players are in the 13-16 age range, so maybe I'm asking for too much.

I think we just have to wait and see since the harpoon gun, the minigun and the laser rifle hasn’t been added yet, possibly allowing us to counter vehicles

Epic have already planned ahead it seems and I think they know exactly what they're doing this season. In the trailer we saw the Power Suits holding all the weapons meant to counter vehicles; Minigun, harpoon gun, some sort of pulse rifle (if its like the Stark Industries or Slone ones it'll tear those cars up) They're giving us all this insane chaos the first few weeks and instead of nerfing, just give us the "Boogie Bombs" of this Season slowly. I love it.

I literally try to use the new crossbow and it takes me like 30 minutes to blow up a car, and it takes the car 1-2 seconds to blow me up... so what else do yo uwant me to do. Also, I always liked the mechs. And they WERE counter-able. But here's the thing. Not everyone in the game was IN ONE. Everyone in this season is in a car. With turrets on it. And not everyone plays build-mode where you can hide in a box.

I’m trying to adapt and as a zero build player 1. The fist does 77 damage to a car, sure u can upper cut and hope you flip a car. 2. the bow does 200 damage a blue one to be exact. Even the mythic bow if you shoot a mythic car does 4 shield damage to the ppl inside.
I’ve resorted to just destroying all gas stations and popping tires of all cars on road
I think emps would be nice to bring back for temporary stun the car. Oh and either lower the mythic cars health or stop them from recovering health over time. Just my opinion after my 2 days in this season
Defo think the bow needs to have buffed structure damage, but if you shoot directly into the cars windshields you’ll do big damage to the driver

There are a few things they should unvault to Balance things out, like boogies, reinforced walls, avil launcher and emp grenade, they seem to be new counters, they have planned to release through the season, which can be seen in the trailer.

Imagine if zero build was the base of Fortnite battle royale. These people would flip if Epic introduced builds and couldn't adapt to a new meta
I like that they are changing the meta but I will say that I’m not sure if I will like the car meta for the entire season because I’ve noticed that if I don’t have a car and stay in it until the last zone I get immediately murdered. Still like it but am scared that it will be stale eventually

I personally just really enjoy the building and combat part of the game. I think this season is fun but like I really REALLY wish we could get a different mode like no build has now. Some people just want to focus on those core mechanics.

Honestly my only issue with the game which isnt gamepley wise, is the removal of rarities, i just cant stand my cosmetics looking so mundane
What I don't understand is people wanting and expecting balance...in a BR. BR is literally a genre where you drop onto a map with random weapons at random locations with random rarities and attachments. You literally can lose to someone all because they have a higher rarity of weapon than you. You could beat someone because they opened 5 chests and got unlucky and found no shields. Rng is the name of the game. This isn't chest or Guilty Gear. I'm not saying there should be zero skill and balance, but I like dumb chaotic fun.

Shockwaves. Get in the car and break it from inside. Nitro fist of the way. Literally just dodge. Or if doing anything other than placing walls is too hard then wait for more counter items that we saw in the trailer to be added, like the hook.

The lack of common sense in the competitive community is super funny because there are such easy ways to counter everything and they choose to box up instead of shooting the car that's coming right at them that they can VISUALLY SEE AND HEAR

You cant use cover effectively this season cuz nitro fist phases cars will chop your hp in half
and nitro sprint will phase through and break cover
Which means u since u dont have cover u cant heal
and now if ur under 70hp clutch play is absolutely impossible
Now its about rng and who gets best zone positionement cuz if u get tagged ur not making it out alive

Dude, this video is amazing. I agreed with everything bro said. I'm not gunna have my summer ruined every time I hop on my favorite game because of what comp players want. They have creative mode. It's a fun and whacky game. I have had the most chaotic fun in a long time for this game. It's like I'm in a mad max movie every game, and it's sick af! No other game does it like fortnite and a group of people who play for money will not change that

Please make a video showing me the best strat to get rid of someone else's car and how to counteract them. I would love to see your strat on how you do this. The bow works but not powerful enough and i dont wanna spend half my game running away from every fight. Not only that but you cant shoot bulletproof tires. I literally just watched Avxry win 4 ranked games in a row using nothing but a mythic car with the turret. He never built a single floor, wall, cone. I mean no disrespect but ive been having a hard time counteracting any vehicle with the nitro fuel or the turret. And yeah yeah ill hear "get good or blah blah blah" but so be it. I wanna see clen show me how to counteract these vehicles thats all om asking
strat 1. build wall when its near you, then use nitro fists to go up and then down, dealing damage to them and go in the car
strat 2. use nitro fists a ton in the air hitting them in the process, your i so fast you cant get shot
I am liking this season but zero build has become very hard to play. You have to jump into the nearest car as soon as you land to avoid dieing on spawn.
Like aussieantics said they need to have an actual competitive loot pool for us competitive players who want to use skill to win and Fortnite shouldn’t be forcing the loot pool that is catered towards non competitive players. Also making boxes which is what you went back to frequently throughout the video, us competitive players do make boxes and box fight, build fight and every other thing that we do that is what good players do. Also we cannot shoot an enemy who is inside of our box with nitro fists and flying vertically upwards at high speeds.
I mean it's not that you don't need skill this season. It's just a different kind. Learn how to use the movility items and the car play in a different way to counter the new stuff.
All competitive players seem to think that good = build. I’m glad that there are other aspects of the game that people can be good at to give others a fighting chance.

@@etelvinaalcaraz9961cars are only in ranked and pubs, they wouldnt get any better since its impossible to play it close to a tourney when stuff is removed between the modes. Making ranked a comp loot pool gives casuals a fun loot pool while comp players get a skilled loot pool to practice with. Car overpower any other item in this game with only one way to combat it...

So I think that tbh the casual community is overreacting, but I also think the competitive players are incredibly toxic, whiney, and quick to complain. Both sides here are in the wrong. While yes, some aspects need to be nerfed, lashing out at epic and harassing the developers isn't the way to go about doing things.

I agree that the cars are difficult to beat with old strategies, but that’s the fun part. It’s changing up the gameplay and making us think on our feet more, I really like this season
Whats crazy is that the casual are hating on comp saying they should be able to adapt but most of them complain about builds and play zero build which shows how much they cant adapt since they cant adapt to Fortnite’s main feature😂
This season is one of the best seasons of all time. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is that the cars can be a little OP at times, but the season is still amazing. I'd say this season is a 9.5/10 for me 🤩
bro i fr quit back in chapter two as when back in chapter one we had a fun update then it gets nerf and the weapon, trap or item is boring and alot of chapter 2 became boring to me around chapter 2 season 3 as everything had to be meta
I think the problem is the lack of difference in lootpools. Personally, as a comp player, I don't mid cars and gloves in ranked and pubs, but fists should be different for competitive
The people complaining are the people who have figured out a build/hide strategy that allows them to always win without trying. And even then they're not happy. WAAAAAAAH..

I’m a zero build player. I really like how chaotic the beginning and midgame can be due to chasing or being chased. Feels like being in a movie. I also have been really enjoying the nitro fists. Feels like the mobility and combat of the kinetic blade. I do not like how endgame has changed though. It has basically turned into whoever has the most shield bubbles and repair torches wins the game. Especially if you have a bosses car. It can get frustrating sometimes and yes I’ve done this strategy before and won some games but also lost because some people have done the same thing. I do not like talking to friends about the problems I have with the season because they just assume that I do not like anything fun coming to the game.
chapter 4 was good for graphics and had a good season 1 and thats about it. chapter 2 was prime fortnite and had good pois and rotations. the only problem we have now is that creative is taking too much of the game. fortnite needs to bring back what it had for br, creative, and save the world. and this time for each of the other game modes. only have a shop designed for each of the game modes and make the shop only have 1 or 2 skins like the old days. now everything sucks and nothing is worth it.
Who cares what comp players say Fortnite should focus on being fun like the finals is doing rn

Maybe they have. Another Fortnite CZcamsr (Klarque Clint Gaming) mentioned that the devs may have watched videos talking about that kind of stuff, so that's how we're here I guess.
Ironically the very same thing is happening this season that happened in season X. Comp complained about the mechs instead of adapting and those got nerfed. The weapons and cars are gonna get nerfed the same way.
It might be the same situation but not the same item, or the same Fortnite. I’ve seen those things, and one jump could quite literally level a whole HOUSE. And I don’t mean like the cars that drive through buildings, nah, all in one GO. The missiles would lock on and destroy quite literally entire *ENDGAMES* with of people, it was insane.

A mech could literally SHIT ON YOU through houses and cars have a litteral exposive turret or machine gun turret which you can operate while your IN THE CAR and you have INFINITE FUEL, INFINITE AMMO, CAN DESTROY ANYTHING INFRONT OF YOU, and they get DOUBLE the health....... you cant adapt when you only have one item that couldnt even easily stop it.....

Comp players in every community are so damn annoying cause they feel though since they're better at a game then casual players they know how the game should work.

I only play no builds nowadays, which is WAY harder than playing normal Fortnite, and still managed to get a win 3 days in. It is possible to play this game right now without dying. These pros just want to scream into the void to get exactly what they want, because they know they have an influence on the game. They know the amount of money they make from playing competitive effects Fortnite in the long run, so when they don't like something, they whine and bitch about it until Epic finally has to cave because of the sheer amount of comp players whining like babies. This is just rinse and repeat every single Fortnite season since the introduction of the infinity blade to the game.
builds has a massive skill gap compared to zero build. This is coming from a person who plays both (i find zb more fun) but you are missing a CRUCIAL part of the main game. A pro player in builds can destroy 99.9% of the zb players bc not only they can build really fucking well, they can aim just as good as a amazing 0.001% player.
@@Favstrofrit goes both ways. Build players get shredded by The Best Zero builds players when you cannot hide in the magic box. Been playing since c2s2 i seen the building monsters. Without the box theyre just regular as f. In comp the "skilled" pros hide and heal off because one box guy doesn't wanna use his materials to thenother Guy that is hiding and building too. The truth is the build community is dug in and now they're stuck because without protection of the materials they're forced to actually fight and actually strategize a counter offensive. Also fortnite competitive is still riddled with cheaters. Way worse than cod.
The competitive side of Fortnite is just set to think that the game is building. It's 1 sided
nitro boost fair or not is a counter play mechanic and should be adapted to. Cars being buffed to unorthodox levels making solos a Season X type situation similar to the mechs, but instead of being an offensive nightmare they're a pain in the ass to counter and use (talking only for solo). Not to mention since arena is no longer around to split up the busted additions from comp and casual this is a glaring balancing issue that was not well though out which should be addressed despite general popularity amongst casuals. Each deserve to play the game how they deem fun, but not being able to use your mechanics to your advantage in one of the most mechanically complex games on the popular market is insane

i think ranked should be more like og fortnite. no crazy cars or powerups. but they could add whatever they want to casual
I honestly love this season. Yeah, it's a bit more of a challenge to play with all the crazy car chaos, which I love, but it makes it more rewarding to win. Like old times
I've won ranked solo matches without even using the cars in this season.
what i find funny that all the people that like the season and who are talking like this is people that have treated to quit the game because they all got beat by people that are smart that use a good strategy{building} and i do understand the point of just shot back but the same thing is don't even try and lie the fist do not give you a chance lol but i am a up and coming pro but i cant play br because of the cars and i like using them IN PUBS but i think they should not be in ranked. and i would also like to say the this game a is/was a stress reliver but now it is not
