That Fairlane was begging to drive! Glad you guys came out.
Dylan McCool you guys have some beautiful classics!
Hey I'm working on an old 72 ford f100 and I have discovered I'm not getting spark. Could yal please do an in depth look at hot wiring the coil and etc??
Dylan McCool we need mustang first starts
Craig Winfree check your coil see if it's pushing electricity to the spark plugs

Love the sound of that Fairlane. That thing was begging for someone to take it home. Body doesn't look too awfully bad either.
HEY VIC! Come and get her,and Trailer her home! Johnthon W. Might like thata one since he likes em all! 8/03/19 8.22 am cst USA TRUMP 2020
Only problem is that because it's a unibody he said his foot went through the floor they are notorious for it.
Sounded great
Mobil
So I have a 67 fairlane cv it’s a good car but we’re rebuilding it
Someone needs to bring that Fairlane home. Not saying the Bronco doesn't deserve love but the Fairlane just wants to drive again.
yeeah, it sounds sweet :)
It is such a great sounding car and its got an awesome style.
Love to put my 347 in it, ultimate sleeper...
I agree
Shows you what can happen with no darn alcohol in the fuel
That Fairlane sounded GREAT! And that Bronco II was pretty darn awesome, too!
im 65 yrs old and been rescueing old FORDS all my life, i luv it when one comes back to life, even for a short while
Good for you Frank ! You need to share your knowledge to the younger ones ( If there interested ) UK here
What are your favorites?
You and Dylan and Luke are so much fun to watch cutting up, and it's fun to watch you all bringing those old rigs back to life. Keep on keepin on!
THAT FAIRLANE!! I WANT!! Music in rhythm for sure. It sounds like new! You dudes rock!
I love what these guys do. This is my kind of stuff. We have a huge junkyard by me called Parts World, in Roosevelt Ok. I have thought many time about taking a hot battery and some gas and seeing what I could get running. I hope they keep these videos flowing.
This is the kind of car-videos I love! Wish you guys got more cred and views, beacuse I follow a lot of channels on cars, but these videos are by far the most entertaining I know, when there is nothing new I watch the old ones over and over! To be honest I wish we had these kind of yards and cars in Sweden too, but sadly we dont! Or I would spend every weekend doing what you guys are doing!
Inspiring and fun to watch, you guys are rocking! With the help of Thunderhead289:s videos I am rebuilding my F150:s engine aswell!
And last but not least, as a former Ranger in the Swedish armed forces, I and the world thank you for your service brother!
Keep up the great work!
I found this chanil while going through my feed. I'm totally blind, but really enjoy these videos! Keep up the good work!
You boys are great with vehicles. You should start doing full restoration and restomods.
From the number of junkyard starts you video, all you need is a production crew and you'll have the next awesome history channel reality show!
" Rolling Funder: A day in the life of the Junkyard Boys."
That fairlane has the best sound in my opinion, actually all fairlanes have very good exhaust notes
Rockabilly Kid
I agree, that is the best sounding exhaust any car could have.
@@off-roadprojectsandfun6868 I just hate how underrated some ford models are, like the ford torino talladega.
Sounds like it has glasspack mufflers.
That Fairlane start was truly bitchen! You gotta love it when a plan comes together!
Really like watching the revivals man . That Ford fairly was pretty sick! To start after that long and idol that's pretty dang awesome! I don't call myself a four guy but that's pretty impressive!
yall should totally buy that fairlane and fix it up! after sitting no telling how long and you got it to fire up, it deserves it!
Negotiate price before disclosing it fired right up, lol.
Amen Sista! Otherwise The Price goes up Bunches! 8/03/19 8.26 am cst USA TRUMP 2020..
this person doesnt want to fix them or sell them thats why they keep saying why there mad X car is setting here rotting
Man I can't stop binging this channel, Love the revivals and I love seeing you with your friend thunderhead. Really reminds me of my best friend and how we goofed off lol
The owner's got to let at least ONE car go to you guys. This is just amazing to see the huge amounts of potential from these cars!
That Fairlane was wanting to go home with you guys I'm not a big ford person but Damn I'm impressed they don't make em like that anymore
It's like it was saying "save me"
Fords rule!!! I had a Bronco ll that I beat on for years. The body fell apart but the motor and transmission were awesome!!!!
More of this please!!! You and thunderhead are the reason I watch
Never been much of a Ford guy, not even really much for domestics, but that Fairlane sounds absolutely gorgeous! What a roar.
Another GREAT video! Thanks Kevin!
goddamn AND YOU VERIFIED
@@sundayfunday5059 Man is movin on up in the world
I had a 1976 F100 ford for 14 years was still running well when I sold it, 21 yrs old, had the 300 straight 6, 3 on the tree still had factory rad starter and alternator on it ,I did replace the water pump,it never let me down it was a great truck!
I love it that you guys want to keep these cars of my youth running, keep up the good work fellas
*REVIVE THE FAIRLANE!!!*
Car nerds in their natural habitat.
MOTOR OR GEARHEAD BY PASS THE MECHANIC FIT THEM OURSELVES SAVE A TON OF $
Lol i also fit in the picture
Hey, Kevin, Awesome ! Loving the old school thinking. Brings back the good old days for me. Wish I was there having fun !
That bronco might’ve had some Tennessee whiskey in it mixed with the gas 😂😂
Love that Bronco at the beginning 😍
*A fusable link is where a larger wire splits into 2 or more smaller wires and then returns to a larger wire* so if it gets too many amps then it will burn out the small wires.
This was the first video as I really looked if its a good idea to go to a junkyard and get a car,of course checking if its any good, and I am addicted to this channel since I watched this video, keep the good work up!
Lots of fun! I remember those days of my youth when some of us would get together and do this with old cars and motorcycles. Too cool! These ARE the good ol' days.
Hi back to you son! 16:05
Love that there is an amc javelin sitting there just like “I’m rare help me out man”
Great job guys.Love watching getting theses old bangers up and running!
If u guys see this my dad has a 1962 Buick special convertible that he wants to sell. It doesn't run, but all of your awesome revivals show that u guys are the most qualified for the job
That Fairlane brings back some memories!!!! Grandpa had a white one, red interior, I can still remember the sound of that 289, and standing on the front seat heading to the river 50 years ago!!!!
Wow that exhaust note on the Fairlane is incredible!
Always good to see the fire extinguisher sitting off in the distance.
Just found your channels and going through all the projects. Someone should take that FF home. That is amazing.
That bronco ii was awsome slowly building mine up now! I have a couple vids up finally...thank you guys and many others for the inspiration to make youtube videos!!
Hello from Burlington Iowa!!!! Yeah our winter was crazy this year!!!
AWESOME video you guys. Great yard.
Good job on telling people to sub to Dylan McCool and Thunderhead289! I've been watching their vids for a while, not realizing that I had never subscribed! That has now been remedied!
Great video. That Fairlane...? OMG
I wish it was mine.
Um abraço a vcs sou do Brasil bons ver tres jovens resgatando dando vida a esses carros Parabéns !
Of course the Ford's run, pulled a 74 f250 that sat in ruts for 6 ish years in the woods. Now it's a daily driver... well, not atm, parked it due to winter
That's the issue with Ford's, they seldom completely fail, just enough to keep hope! Spatial holes for wallets :)
@@ToreDL87 still runs & drives, could fire it up now & take it on a 4hr drive with no issues. Just trying keep the rust to a minimal
Never been in a FoMoCo product that ever left us on the road. always ran no matter how fucked up something was like (eating bits of piston as it went down the road) killed 2 and still got us home.
@@zuestoots5176 hell yea! Had an 85 f150 sounded like a diesel driving down the road. Drove it for 2yrs. Straight 6 that wouldn't give up. Still ran when I pulled it to rebuild it. Just got tired of it sounding like a diesel without the pulling power of one lol
Ford's are great. Besides the 04+ exploders etc.
Please see if you can save that fairlane. That thing wants to see another say
Ford Bronco sitting there long time lots of vehicles never met touch found right one it will turn over awesome keep you up good job friend bless you
dam I'd drive that fairlane out in Los Angeles proudly. No paint, no floorboards....just how it sits is perfect :)
Love these videos you make, excellent.
Dylan slapping hornets nests when someone else (Thunderhead) is within close proximity is one of my favorite parts. Thanks for another great vid!
Oh! We got spark
Found you guys just scrolling through CZcams. Great vids
Love Dylan McCool... do what you do man!
That bronco mint!
Damn this was hella good video we totally need more of these kind of videos!!!
Great Vid. Wishing more Yards like that were in my area. Keep making the great videos.
Loved the Fairlane. Had one once and wish I'd kept it. Great video guys!
I subscribed i love watching these junkyard digs
That Fairlane sounds unbelievable! I believe any car can be saved obviously will unlimited funds but that motor deserves to be in another car for sure! I want it! Seriously!!
Hi Kevin. Awesome video my friend and thanks for the hard work you put into making your videos and I wish I could have been there as well.
Next time on Junkyard Digs... Dylan McCool drives a Bronco. Lol I would watch it, that was freaking hilarious!
Great video , I am subscribed to you and the other junk yard raiders. I would want to take them all home ..well the Fairlane for sure . Like to stay but off to Dylan’s videos .
I love watching these old cars coming back to life. Gives me hope for my 67 mustang which has been siting for 18 years. I plan to play with it this weekend.
Tripp Corbin is it a fastback?
@@corey_the_bird3086 nope a coup
Darn the fastbacks are awesome
@@corey_the_bird3086 They are. But my dad is the original owner of this one and was the car I was driving when I first started dating my wife. Has some attachment. I was able to get it to turn over today. So engine is not frozen. No spark though. Think the points are shot. Sadly no store near me carries points any more. Will have to order them or convert to Electronic ignition.
Tripp Corbin yeah that sucks hope you can get the points
Sweet little Fairline, got to dig it out get it on the road.
That wiper scare was great! XD Ah, great fun with friends! Ha, so was the wasp nest, good thing it didn't launch AT anybody!
Wow 😲! Awesome 😎 and amazing 😉! Keep it up!
Love you guys! Keep up the great work!
Great video dude, you three always make for an entertaining experience
The Fairlane made me grin. I owned a 67 and a 68. Both were great cars and easy to work on.
I love the different sounds you get standing up front vs in back
I subscribed to thunderhead and McCool, I think you guys are super awesome. God bless you all my friend.
Did the owner say anything after you were able to get the 500 started?
You need to save that Fairlane! I say that and I don't even care for Fords. This is a good deal for the yard owner, now if someone asks about the cars they're not just unknown junks, he can say this one and that one runs.
Look like too much fun. Junk yard adventure!!
The videos are so much betterer when all you boys are together.
That Bronco deserves to be rescued
That Fairlane sounded great!
Great video! I love these types of videos.
I’m glad it’s the same three dudes with great vibes as the last vid I saw. The channel name was different so I’m glad it’s you guys. Great vids!
Great video do more like this!!! My dad had a 65 Fairlane like that
Would have loved to have seen a little of that white AMC Javelin next to the Fairlane
Its on Dylan McCools channel
@@kevinkinsley2019 thanks
More kids need to go out with their friends n a handful of tools n just mess with old cars. Congrats you just got my sub
Love your Channel!
Love to see more Competitive Builds.
I live in Canada and I can say for sure its very common for there to be WAY more snow than that outside.
That Bronco might have been a perfect project car to fix and resell as a quick flip with your skills.
Definitely agree that fairlane needs some love. Should take it home
Autolite 2100, best 2 barrel ever produced.
Yeah I really like your lightning round format.
Love me a Ford!! Good stuff guys.
My never coming dream Ford Fairlane..... and that super nice exausts sound weeee ;) One day someday in another day I will drive it where the road leads.....
I had Fairlane just like that one. The V8 engine choices that year were 289 and 289 hp (high performance) Mine was the hp. That was a great driving car and fast.. I eventually blew the engine while winning against a 455 Transam. Converted it to a 302. Eventually sold it, as a streetable racing car gave my wife the willies. Traded it in on a VW Rabbit. Regrets.
I'm a car guy first, GM guy second , so I'm sad that the Bronco and Fairlane are just sitting. The Fairlane is about to be on the ground and when it hits the mud the frame and belly pan are toast. :( People in the South don't realize how lucky they are not to live in the rust belt. The Bronco would have all sorts of body cancer from road salt if it was in the Midwest. It seems that salt brine and Cash For Clunkers has killed 90% of anything over 20 years old.
We're not lucky. Just smart. I moved here. You can too.
@@stwhite5135 lip l9 99 IPO ippolito. Uighur 7
@@thomaslyons862 I don't speak that language. Sorry language challenged North American.
YOU MUST BE INSANE!!!! I live in Georgia, and we may not have road salt to worry about, but it rains so much, and we do have a lot of snow in the latter Winter months so we do have some pretty bad rust, if you don't think so come look at my 1978 Bronco with a 351M, and a c6.
Seth Thomas, Cash For Clunkers had to be the absolute WORST idea to ever come out of the anal cavity of anybody in Washington! So many classic cars were destroyed and it proved NOTHING! GM is still on the rocks, management and the UAW learned nothing and the Japanese are still kicking the Big Three's butts with their cookie cutter plastic cars!
The ford sounded soooo good. 22:50
Please make plenty of these this year. I cant get enough.
Gotta love those 289 fords.
If you guys would carry an emery board with you it would help with the corrosion on the points..
...and you'd have nice presentable nails too :)
Love the BII, nobody shows love for these anymore
Awesome!
I wanna see more vids like this! :D
Great video guys, keep it up!!!
Love the channel my guys! Try filling the carb bowl through the vents...it'll run a lot longer!
