I had to guess the measurments for the flour, salt, and sugar but I did it and it came out perfect. I used 2 cups of Namaste organic "perfect flour blend," 1/4 cup sugar, and about 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of salt

Thanks you for this beautiful recipe!! You are such a perfectionist 🥧
It should be mentioned that you only poke holes in a pie crust that you intent to blind bake, like you are here. Otherwise, the holes will create a very soggy bottom crust from the filling (such as apple pie) during baking.

This was a game changer for my Christmas meal. I made a beautiful cherry pie with the lattice top and it not only was beautiful to look at it was amazing to have a great tasting pie that was not off tasting like so many gluten free things are. I love your recipes! Following a lot of your recipes have brought joy and enthusiasm back to cooking for me. Gluten free is a pain but it doesnt have to be nasty. I lived till middle age and still cut out separate long strips for the crust. My common sense is lacking at times. Any reason why you used brown rice and white as opposed to one or the other. Pre-made mixes are made with different flours in different ratios and some have already added xanthan gum. Because of this I do recommend following the recipe, if possible, for results as you see in the video. I hope your pie crust turns out beautifully :)

Hi Sylvia! Thanks for your interest in the pie crust recipe. The full recipe can be found on my website at www.GlutenFreeHabit.com. I don’t typically list quantities in my videos because I do occasionally alter/improve upon a recipe. These changes are always reflected in the recipe on my website. I hope this helps.
      Happy Baking!!

What's the difference between brown rice flour and white rice flour?

Hi Nathan! Brown rice flour is made from whole grain rice. It has a very mild nutty flavor, which is not something you notice when in combination with other flours/ingredients. White rice flour is made from ground white rice. I always like to bake with at least 2 different flours for best flavor. Thanks for asking.
