- I was playing old DBD the other night and I noticed how much longer it was taking me to level up my characters. And the reason is the old bloodweb machanics.

They need to remove the animations of auto buying and the animations that play between levels. But the changes made lvlup a lot easier

Oh and also worth mentioning, on consoles, the blood web would take an entire 2 seconds just to grab 1 item.

Were they really? I joined DBD in 2019 so would have been before my time. Now, not only are BPS rare green offerings, I swear they appear less frequently than other green items, add ons and offerings.
The Map Offerings Should be still Purple and this Expensive. That Decrease Toxticity and trolling.
It would barely make a scrap of difference IMO. If anything they should rework the map offerings to make it less likely to go to the map you burn an offering for.
Ah yes, the reason I dropped the game after a few tries a few years ago, might give it a try
definitely do, it has been much improved, infact if you prestige at least once you can automatically speed through the blood web where it targets the more cheap items as not to waste bp.

I wouldn't recommend it now, hacking and tunneling are common place. The matching for survivors is horrendous, getting matched with people now where close to each others skill level or the killers. Same perks and killers every match. BHVR is failing dbd like it's failed every other game they've made, not enough effort to make it the best it can be, instead they'd rather be lazy and keep the game in its broken state.

I mean it shouldn't take 3-4 months for a balance patch or in the infamous COB-Eruption combo about 9 months before it got nerfed despite the outcry in the community about this. I low key miss the old Bloodweb for nostalgia of siting there for hours spending bp
Not even gonna mention that the blood web was always this maximum size at higher levels, and there was only 1 perk in each level. (levels 2-4 had no perks)
Also, the layout sometimes made it so that it was literally impossible to reach an item on the edge before the entity grabbed it!
This was one of the reasons i stoped playing then played it for 2 years then stoped again lol
When the old blood web was out I downloaded a software to automatically pick it for me and I just went off when it was doing it’s thing
Unless you count mobile where iri add one are 7000
And old but before the newest blood web where the bloodpoint costs got 25% off instead of being full price and its been that way since mid 2022. Crazy
After they updated it, I got like 3 million blood points back
yes but also theres an economical factor as to why this was, yes the pricing for really cheap items is ridiculous BUT you could only prestige to a maximum of three times with a bloodpoint cap set to 1 million making the grind more challenging it used to take me days but now i can prestige at least more then 10 times in a week
Isn't that reason the legacy prestige skins are a thing? From the hard grind of ptisteaging so they gave that out before changing it to make it more easy
And the entity didn’t take stuff if I remember right meaning it was like 100k + per level. Good times

I tried to prestige all survs on old blood web 😭
This wasnt even the worst part, there was only 1 perk in whole bloodweb and sometimes (tbh very rarely) entity was able to consume the perk before you even got to it despite you took the shortest path to get it.

I have 1 billion shards on DBD mobile global i am not happy. We lost half of the killers and maps and. Survivors

Oh and dont forget to mention how perks showing up were completely random. U could get 8 blood webs no perks when your missing some.
And the max bloodpoints back then was 1m not standard 2m now
