Sci-fi and Fantasy are def different genres LOL as soon as a scifi gets too technical my brain goes on a little adventure but maybe one day I'll get more into that genre. Ursula K Le Guin is def an author I wanna try I wanna read her Earthsea trilogy. Classics are weird sometimes because on one hand yes historical context matters but on the other hand the book also has to be able to stand on its own because most of us aren't historians and if you aren't reading this for school you prob don't have someone explaining all the context for a book.

Yeah, I think China Mieville did a good job contextualizing it in the introduction, but still what bothered me most was how bored I was for a significant part of the book. xD
