  • Here is a special video from the Academic Showcase at SPS 2023.
In one short term, Terell, a newcomer to robotics and physical computing, built a line-following robot equipped with a gripper. To start, the guest user inserts a scrambled Rubik’s Cube into the gripper’s jaws, then, upon activation, the robot closes the jaws and starts navigating a line on the table. When the robot has made its way to Terell’s location, he puts up a hand, which is sensed by the robot, telling it to stop and release the gripper. The robot will then wait for 35 seconds to (hopefully) give Terell time to solve the puzzle and replace it within the jaws. The robot then returns the cube to the guest user for inspection.
