First breaking tape I ever owned. I got it on VHS at Trader's Village. At this time, I could be wrong, but Ruen pretty much had the best powermoves out of anyone.
Watching old bboy footage makes me appreciate the bboy culture today and how it evolved from one level to another. These kinds of bboys are the teachers and leaders for our generation as well as the future generations!
Because it was back in 2000, and some of the names such as Caveman, Ruen, Tuffkid, Vietnam, Boy, paved way and invented moves for dancers now.
Rare to see a battle with so much energy and such positive attitudes toward each other at the same time, and holy fuck the sets....so many dope moves, so many good ideas!
I like this, reminds me of the good old days at YA practicing with Havikoro.

One of my favorite things about the early 2000's was "props for trying" lol.the over emphasis on execution has made everything so boring.somtimes you gotta crash to create.the other was bboys staying humble & giving props to the other crew if they did some truly next level shit.

They use it in such different ways. Thesis would normall do that kind of drop to a flare or some power. I don't think Moy influenced it at least not in that particular move set
That's break dancing at it's best freestyle session 6,and the final battle between havockoro from Texas and Cali tex a all-star boy from California and Texas and also tuff kid from Switzerland Basel city attack ,havockoro did very well against such a stacked crew, bboy's had more style an originality than now it's to main stream a little soft, an to much biting not much original moves ,don't get me wrong they can combo non stop an crew dance non stop these day's which they did in old day's . but it has lost a lot of that raw rivalry an attitude like you are going too war and it's a fight ,an a lot of passion in old school breakdancing you get it a little bit these days eg kidColumbia,pacpac,Lilou,robin,ECT.. .

I didn't mean it in that sense. I look up to Moy and he influenced bboys like me. I made the first statement short but I was concluding that Thias was influenced by Moy which helped create the bboy he his today.
