I'm not a Steelers fan but I do know that Pittsburgh always finds good talent , especially running backs .. they'll be fine

Baltimore got better and Cleveland got a LOT better. Steelers lost two young and still dominant offensive all pros and their lone big name weapon is a QB who is 37 years old and and only played in all 16 regular season games for his team 4 times in a 15 year career. You don't generally replace that kind of talent in one off season.
Steelers can find good talent on offense. Defense is a whole different story.
@@22steve5150 cant buy into Cleveland. They look good on paper and that's it. Cleveland has to prove they are good. Baltimore and PGH always compete but Cleveland is a long way from being good. They need to win and win consistently, meaning years not a one and done season.

I don't mind giving people a second chance (e.g. with AB after the social media thing) that fits well with the human touch that the Steelers have (for me). So why they didn't "clean" right after the first incidents is understandable also we are all aware that AB and LB are great players so you don't want to just throw them out immediately

So according to Shannon, Tomlin who has established himself as one of the highest winning percentage coaches in history, will lose his job if the Steelers have another winning season. No forget the fact they didnt make the playoffs, he had a winning season where his QB had one of his best years ever, but were on the L side of 5 very close games, 3 where the refs obviously botched critical calls, and you assume that Tomlin is also part of the contract negotiation process as to signing high end players. Colbert and Co. Make the deals, and Tomlin handles the egos and the skill set that comes with them. If the Steelers don't sign AB and Bell, that's not on Tomlin, that's on the front office, they have to accept that Tomlim must move forward with the players he still has.

The Rooney's will never fire Tomlin. They are loyal to a fault when it comes to people who have what's BEST for the team first. And Tomlin does that. They let AB and Bell go because they each thought what they wanted was more important than what was best for the team. The Steelers organization have done this before. They got rid of Plexico Buress, Santonio Holmes as a few examples. The Steelers will be fine next season. They probably won't win the Super Bowl, but they will make the playoffs.
