Hey there, unforutnately my water pump just went too and will be doing this on my own. Did you use the official Ducati tdc tool or whatever to hold the "gears" when refitting the propeller on top of the pump? Think the workshop manual states there is both one used to loosen and another to tighten? Curious if can just use something else instead.
I’m thinking of getting a dry clutch conversion. On average how much kilometres do dry clutch plates last for mostly city riding? Is there like an average cost for dry clutch replacements?
If you want to use only city riding? Honestly, I don't recommend it. the reason why dry clutch mileage is very short... but if you need more power deliver? go had !!! dry clutch replacements cost is about 4 hours labor~ in KOREA, thanks.
Hi, our team is also racing V4's, just have a question, do you replace waterpumps as often as we do? Our pumps seem to brake exactly every 2500km... (we use H2O radiators) Do you have any solution? Thanks
I don't really know hahaha, but for my personal experience, internal water pumps it's a NONO for me. For a race bike it's ok, it's meant to be revised, but for a commute bike not so good. A friend of mine had a internally leaking Honda África twin. And he didn't know it, untill was to late for the crankshaft bearings and the camshaft bearings and shafts. All scratched and totalled. Honda took care do. But still. Internal water pumps. Nonono.
You're so right , the best bike engineers and mechanics of the world have Stupidity 😅, everything must be wet and desmodronic system is not a masterpiece of engineering, it should not be dry...! 😂😂🤣 You're so original : write a mail and send it to Ducati since you're so skilled and aknowledged in mechanics...
Always in love with the bunyi "kacang" of the dry clutch
i'm sorry, i can not understand ㅜㅜ
Yeah , like kacang in a jar, shaken shake

It’s impressive fixing and changing stuff but it’s the designing that intrigues me
I was concerned about the matter, too🤣

Keep making video like this sir. This is so statisfying ❤️🥰
thank you, I'll try😁
Replaced so many of those damn water pumps lol. I think this year they finally got it right.
when you say this year, the new model or better water pump, mine keeps failing and its doing my head in so much i want to sell the bike
@@30NLF Poop. Sorry to hear that. Is it a 2024?
What is the tool that was used to help with installing the main seal?
Ohhh my god... the bike without the lower fairings at the end 😍🤤
thank you Maxim, i couldn't assemble under fairings with stock side stand... hahaha

When the water pump leaks, the coolant doesn’t get into the oil?
The perfect bike for downtown Seoul traffic!
yes it is...
Pink Pen ! I love you!
Wow bro this is like an ASMR vid. Nice.
I appreciate your reply. NZane🙂🙏
@@yoonracing7739 Welcome sir. Keep up the good vids!
How do you get clean the sealant off so good???
What torque wrench used at 3:50?

@@Haewonpark58 thanks brother.
that is tohnichi QL50N - MH, Robert. thanks.
What happens when the water pump seal fails? How long does the dry clutch seal last?
Possible engine oil or coolant leakage from the water pump drain hole. dry clutch seal is fine~ don't have to change every time^^

Thank You Almighty God I will buy one for myself
yes you can
What is the Torque Specs for the bolt for the dry clutch plates?
How many miles/km’s did the old clutch and water pump last ?
old clutch~ under 500 km's , water pump~ over 2,500 km's
1:10 what are the 2 tools that's been used? My sp clutch is stuck and Im finding it hard to remove the clutch. :-(

I believe the dry clutch last 3,000 miles or so, but it depends on how hard you ride it.
@@yoonracing7739I’m in the garage changing my plates right now. 9037 miles on these current plates. Started to slip about 20 miles ago

Nice new subs here😍🤩🥰
thank you
Music to soft for this bike😁
I agree~ thank you for your advice.
I need more music to choose😭
Nice video, what is the tightening torque of the water pump and cover bolts? 8-10NM?
So what it is? I tightened 10nm and 2 bolts snapped.
The new pump has a smaller impellor than the old pump ???
Thanks for the LOVE (?), but can you explain why the new pump has a smaller impeller ?
big one for v4s~ small one for v4r ~
@@yoonracing7739 I see ...because V4R revs higher and is faster, less cooling required ?
Show us how to do the valve adjustment.
I need to keep a secret, some of part.
But I'll prepare for that, on some testastretta engine.

way too much silicone on the waterpump
Hell yeah way too much.
please check the workshop manual.

Nah that's ok, believe it or on I'm working on Ducati V4 assembly line, that's more or less the amount of silicone robot put on the pump 👍

Dry clutch is used because it has less parasitic loss and moto gp bikes also uses dry clutch
