Thank you. And you are right. This video was created to get Carol Sponsorship to travel across the globe and deliver almost undamaged to the English public. No budget and mountains of talent,
@@PhilMace I've had the honour to see her live at the Edinburgh Festival in 2005 and twice in Newcastle since. Edinburgh was a small venue and such an intimate gig that it felt so personal. I've never laughed so much. 🖤 Oh, I should add that my dad saw her at the Sydney Mardi Gras in 1999 but didn't know who she was. He was in Australia at the right time so him and his cousins went. I was so jealous because I was a fan even then via her weird Channel 4 (?) appearances, back when Channel 4 did real comedy shows like Viva Cabaret.
Carol has always had a fascination for air disasters. She as kept a scrap book of them since a little girl. This video is responsible for getting here to the UK, and seemed the most fitting send off
It was not the early 70s but 1977 when Patsy Gallant had a hit with this song... it charted at # 6 in the UK and was her only hit there. She is Canadian and more hits in her home country. The sound is typical late 70s disco .. very cheery and great. :)
wish there was a real fa like her in the flight she is so entertaining . everyones journey in the flight will be aweome and lots of fun rather than just sitting there like a big ball of waste for ur whole journey
all you need is a blue screen lots of bright lights in back and in frount. A 1970's ANSET emergency card. and Pam. Oh and a broom stick to shove up her coat to make it look like she is flying.. lol
this song was recorded in the early Seventies and was a one hit wonder. The best person to ask would be Carol Reid (pam) since I believe she found it in a second used record shop in Melbourne in here very early days. I am the editor and producer of this clip.
you realise that when she made this video she had never been on a airplane. She had, how ever kept a scrap book of air disasters since the age of 12. There is far more to Pam Ann. The character is someone from Pam's past. Someone very close
2022...still love this!!
Love this 70s Disco era music
The original and the best. 🖤
