Unlike a lot of people, Caparison guitars was what got me into Evergrey. I was a big fan of James Murphy and Christopher Amott, and the tones they got from their Caparisons. I found out about you guys from the Caparison website, been a fan ever since.
I've been I huge Evergrey fan since early 2000s, and this is why! Henrik you are a phenomenal guitar player, and the sound of any guitar in your hands is just amazing. I own a Dellinger Custom Line series, but I can never make it sound any close to your tone, it's just not in my hands. Thanks for being my inspiration for all these years! And kee pposting videos!
Fuck yes! This is the coolest thing on the internet it makes me so happy to hear you play these riffs/solos on a Caparison again! I bought one back in 2004/2005 because of you guys!
Henrik "The RIff Master" Danhage!!! This video has answered a lot of freaking questions to me !!!! It was a really very interesting video. THANK YOU!!!!
Always loved those guitars. Caparison really became that hard to obtain with a lot of mojo killer Guitar during the nineties early 2000's because of evergrey, soilwork and mattias Ecklund. I still love my Caparisons just killer guitars. Because of you now the Charvel is on my radar for some time but it is sold out so quickly everytime.
I really missed these guitars, great sound! :) When I first met with Evergrey and with your guitar playing you used Caparisons. Nice memories! :) Thank you for the long video!
What a great piece of story right here, i remember this guitar from the first time listening evergrey Back in 2008, i watch the dvd for weeks, and still my best dvd , and my dream guitar from this time is that caparison haha, thank you so much henrik for the vídeo and the history !
My first exposure to Caparison guitars was through you guys , Nil of Nocturnal Rites and Mattias. I dare say they're a top contender to Jackson/Charvel guitars. Especially in the looking cool category.
They are direct contenders 'cause the luthier behind Caparison was the Master Builder from Jackson-Japan. He was the responsable for the Jackson Doug Aldrich Signature, that was exactly like what Caparison did after jackson/japan get closed and he start his own company. ;)
Thank you so much for the Blinded story! I see you guys are in the studios again! I’m so excited for the upcoming release. I have been getting caught up on Tom’s CZcams channel, I don’t know if you get to see his videos, but he has so many wonderful things to say about you. I can tell he had so much respect for you. Thank you so much for responding back to my messages.
So cool! Caparisons have always caught my eye mostly because of Mr Eklundh. BTW you can get power adapter kits for video cameras that fit in the battery slot. I use a DMW-AC8 for my LUMIX camera. Will help stop the camera timing out when running on a battery for long video takes.
Awesome videos mate. I've loved evergrey for many years and your videos are just pure guitar and guitar playing. You are an absolute inspiration and love the play what you Want and do what you want'brilliant. Want to pick up my guitar every time I watch you play. Was thinking wonder where your Ibanez universe was that you showed in a video from years back. As you say They are worth a fortune now those old swirl guitars. Your camera is alot better too. Very clear now. Keep up the excellent work..
Hi I don’t think I ever made a CZcams video with that guitar but that guitar is on the bonus dvd we did years ago. Thank you buddy and keep those videos spinning man 😎
@@HDanhage Aw that was it. I have an evergrey DVD of one of the concerts you did and I think you run through some gear on there and you briefly show the universe minus the paint. Watched that concert so many times. I got it after I'd got the inner circle album,Brilliant album. How many guitars do you have in the collection? I have 36 now. One of those is a white 2015 Ibanez universe. Amazing guitar

Hi Henrik, do you still have all your Cap models what they made for you?
Are those tones from the Bogner? Sounds amazing regardless of guitar.
What gauge strings do you use mostly Brandon size please sir
Caparisons were a part of my finding my sound. Had quite a few 6s and 7s and loved them until the company changed hands and quality started going down. I switched to Suhrs and never looked back.
Thanks Wes
Suhr makes great stuff so I understand why you keep playing them 😊
I will keep theese two 😎
Do you put your phaser before the amp or in the effects loop? I guess the delays are in the effects loop?
Hi Mattias
I have my phaser in front of the amp 😊
Delays in the loop
is that amp modded?
What is the name of the drop pedal you use?
Hi
Digitech Drop pedal is the name 😊
