This is good but would have been better treating the peeled blockwork with waterproof and vapour barriers/proofing solutions would have been much better to prevent the reoccurring of the same problem. Rising damp will definitely come again after this work is done. Money going down the drain

Very true.similar to hiding acne or dark spot with makeup.buildmate sells damp proof course cream for injection method.pora ventures sells damp proof course for insertion method.spending money on waterproof chemicals and paints is a waste of money & time.

I'm not an expert but ideally the slaps around the house there should be some Gravel there to allow for drainage. If you see how the exterior floor slopes down its easily going to stop at the building. At least put bitumen on the walls than render it again. But the work you guys are doing looks good - Keep it up.

Thanks for your observation Ali, The original contractor should have introduced a damp proof membrane and waterproof adhesive to the mortar works. We use a special waterproof mortar mixture to re-plaster the blockwork.

This could have all been averted if you had used a moisture barrier first. All you've done here is removed the visible sight of mold but not dealt with the underling cause of rising water from the base. It is an expensive and temporary fix.

We used a special water proofing mortar mixture to re-plaster the blockwork after removing the damp surfaces. This will provide a permanent barrier and prevent any further damp rise or damage.

Is still ok after treating the block work then before applying water proofing mortar on the surface?

There was water / damp rise but our special waterproof mortar mixture should provide a permanent solution.
