What a pleasure to hear from your words, Martin. You recount Rhodesian History so well, it's not difficult to understand why it's gaining so much popularity. Thank you, Martin.

I love listening to your stories and the history behind them.
I find it ironic how the British governments of the time essentially betrayed Rhodesia ( 65-79/80 ) and now, because of our governments here and the rest of europe, we are being invaded silently by followers of a fanatical ideology supported by socialist collaborators.
I know the situation isn’t quite the same, but, i honestly fear that we will lose our country and culture for good unless we have civil war.
Any way china, stay well and stay safe 👍🏻

In my American ignorance, I tend to assume conflict in South Africa was primarily between Blacks and Whites. These videos are real history lessons, teaching me of the strife between white factions. I would never have believed white Rhodesia invading white South Africa!

How cool to have an American on board and interested in Rhodie / Southern African histories. It was Black on Black, too. Praps check out; N'debel/Mashona and The M'fecane.

@@KernowekTim I too am an American and have watched every one of these videos it’s so interesting that I can’t get enough I guess because I was never taught this history in school and we have a great teacher.

      Another American here.
It may sound ridiculous, but I knew about these events when they were happening so many years ago.
There was a magazine at the time called Soldier of Fortune,( laugh if you want) that covered the Bush War exclusively.
Also after the war, a few families from Rhodesia moved into my area.
Over time I became friends with some who lived closest to me, and am still friends of theirs.
      That happened many years ago.
The families at the time, would openly say they were from Rhodesia, but as the false MSM reporting
about the war spread, to protect their families, they started telling people they were from England.
I have to say, Americans by and large are gullible,
they get all their news from the home grown taking heads.
      The leftists here
can't even tell the truth about our own problems,
      let alone international news.
Thank you for another video Sir.
God Bless all the Patriots of Rhodesia.
I pray one day your country shall be yours again.
Edit: Great to know I've been SHADOW BANNED for my support for a country no longer existing,
hence no longer a threat to the communists on the continent.

Yet another American here. I’ve watched every video here and found them quite fascinating. I enjoy autobiographical history as it applies to conflicts. Hearing the stories from the men (and women) who lived it. I’m also a former reader of SOF magazine lol. And now, as a liberal (I assume you’re lumping communist, liberal, leftist and socialist all in one as many commenters on this channel do) I can say that he “main stream media” covers the full range of political leaning from left to right. So while a lot of what was reported about the Bush War by the left side is untrue, so also a lot of what was reported (and still is being touted as true) by the right is also not true. From my studies of Rhodesia and the war there I think truth is as usual somewhere in the middle. It was a country with a lot of flaws that needed to be fixed, and it fell victim to an even worse form of government which destroyed it. I’m looking forward to Part 5, and I hope we’ll get some more of Martin’s personal experiences and anecdotes in the future. Cheers!

Good morning Martin, from a sunny People's Republic of Kern Land (Kernow UK)😉. I got up early as per: prepped the kitchen, prepped the kit, prepped the veg and meat, prepped the oven and now have stopped for a brew. After that it's, "Attack! Attack! Attack!", because this old Cornish bugger is making traditional Cornish Pasties; Twelve of 'em. What better than to get on with that lot, whilst catching up with you and Dr Jim's ill-fated raid on "Piet Boer" at the same time. A rare treat on all fronts. Cheers Martin👍
