  • Watch the three-part Britain's Treasure Islands documentary series on BBC FOUR, starting Tue 12 Apr 2016 21:00. (repeated Wed 13 Apr 2016 20:00).
Henderson Island is located in the Pitcairn Island group. It lies near to the middle of the Pacific Ocean - the largest ocean on the planet. It is one of the most remote and inaccessible islands on Earth, and remains uninhabited. Due to its isolation it is little impacted by mankind and harbours several unique species of birds that occur nowhere else. Stewart McPherson made a rare visit to Henderson Island, and this film documents the wildlife that he encountered.

Please note: although complementary to the BBC FOUR series, the 40 short mini-documentaries are not commissioned or editorially overseen by BBC.

If you want to police it 24/7, you hire a few individuals like me who would clean up the beaches, kill any rats we see and force people back onto their Yachts to leave. Simple as that. You going to tell me no one wants a Job like that? I would protect a beautiful island like that with my life.

The island belongs to the territories of pitcairn islands so its not a right but privelege granted by the islands or british goverment. I hope effort is made in future to protect the island

There's a good reason why the Polynesians left Henderson island it's because the Polynesian people believed the island was haunted by a giant octopus monster that would come on the island every full moon and devoured their women .

here some real news! THE RAPTURE IS CLOSE!
jacobs troubles is coming ( Israel formally declares war against Hamas ) If we Christians disappear soon, Your know the Lord has taken us Home! Now we need prayed for the Jews and to get many people saved as possible
    Romans 10:9-13 KJV
that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
