The song is called “Oh Yeah” by an 80’s group named Yello, the song was made super popular because of the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. I was a teen in the 80’s and Yello was kind of an alternative/new wave band despite having been around since the late 70’s early 80’s.
I played this tune in my collage radio days, way back when it was a new release. I loved these guys and Monte Video It didn't have any significant commercial radio play to my knowledge, so I was very pleasantly surprised and very pleased when it was used in the soundtrack of 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. Even so, I wasn't aware they had a video, surely promoted after exposure in that John Hughes classic flick.

The song is called “Oh Yeah” by an 80’s group named Yello, the song was made super popular because of the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. I was a teen in the 80’s and Yello was kind of an alternative/new wave band despite having been around since the late 70’s early 80’s.

It didn't have any significant commercial radio play to my knowledge, so I was very pleasantly surprised and very pleased when it was used in the soundtrack of 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'.
Even so, I wasn't aware they had a video, surely promoted after exposure in that John Hughes classic flick.
