well it fits me, most of the songs this guys covers with vocaloid are from artists i love, finding this channel is a miracle

miku's creators get paid a bunch of cash so that astro can put all the effort into making and mixing a song so miku can sing it, and miku gets none of the money since vocaloids have no human rights

I’m at a weird age and family dynamic where I can relate to this, but not In my relationship with my parents but in my relationship with my cousins, they are quite a bit older than me, and musically speaking, I had a very long “childhood”. I’ve only felt increasingly out of touch with the latest in popular music for just the past 8 years, since I was about 32, while most get stuck at a core favorite era at about 22. So I really love this kind of music here, more than most my age would.
Yeah I once showed my mum a cover of There is a Light with Eleanor Forte and she thought it was pretty good, but I doubt she would like ones with actual vocaloids cause synthV has a very different feel to it y'know??

Man, this takes me back to when i first started modding fallout 3 in high school. There was this mod called vocaloid radio with a bunch of vocaloid songs from 2010 and earlier. Always made me feel things, the happy synthetic voices against the bleak and empty capitol wasteland. Just got a flash of those feelings from this track
Someone needs to do a mod like that for Cyberpunk 2077. There is literally nothing more Cyberpunk than vocaloids.

I'm sorry, I need to do a mini-rant on why I love this so much.
So Depeche Mode and Hatsune Miku were both things I was exposed to in my early teenage years. The Mike Shinoda remix of Enjoy the Silence (then subsequent listening to the original) thanks to an AMV, then Melt by Hatsune Miku thanks to an old X360 friend. Both of those songs always take me back to a fond place and I have this weird sentimental attachment to Miku despite only ever hearing Melt.
This cover basically fused those two feelings together and it's fucking surreal, but I genuinely love the result. Thank you so much for this.
