Here are the general steps for setting the timing on a Hyundai Accent 2016 with the G4CL engine:
    1. Remove the timing belt cover to access the timing belt and sprockets.
    2. Rotate the crankshaft until the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley lines up with the mark on the engine block. This indicates that the engine is at Top Dead Center (TDC) on the compression stroke for cylinder 1.
    3. Check the camshaft sprocket for two marks: one on the sprocket and one on the cylinder head. The mark on the sprocket should be aligned with the mark on the cylinder head.
    4. If the marks on the camshaft sprocket are not aligned, loosen the bolts that hold the sprocket in place and adjust the position of the sprocket until the marks are aligned.
    5. Install the new timing belt according to the manufacturer's specifications and ensure that it is properly tensioned.
    6. Rotate the engine two full revolutions by hand to ensure that the timing belt is properly aligned and tensioned.
    7. Check the timing marks again to ensure that they are still aligned.
    8. Reinstall the timing belt cover.
It is important to consult a service manual or a qualified mechanic for specific instructions and torque specifications for your particular vehicle. Improper timing can cause engine damage or failure.

That was a great idea I just happened to cross this video because I have got to put a head gasket on my car and I have never dealt with timing before
