The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants abbreviated as ACCA was formed in 1904. It is the global body for professional accountants who offer Chartered Certified Accountant qualification. Through its global networks, students can study ACCA all over the world.
ACCA mainly focuses not only in finance and accounting but also acquires valuable skills in organizational management and strategy. This course has been internationally recognized in 180 countries but mainly in the UK and European countries.
The ACCA Qualification is based on global accounting and auditing standards and hence covers knowledge of UK GAAP, Laws and IFRS. It opens the doors of many International and National companies handling overseas clients. ACCA Professional qualification is of a high standard and is equivalent to completing a full University Degree.

Salary of ACCA in India is equivalent to that of a CA professional. An ACCA member can earn an average salary of up to INR 8 lac p.a. The pay scale generally ranges between INR 4 lac p.a. @@jainsushree first of all thank you for reaching out...See on an avg if one is smart enough and get selected in top 50 firms the pay can range from 4 LPA to 16 LPA...but it's totally depended on location and firm(work type) .

Anyone opting for ACCA I have only one request go on job portals and search for ACCA jobs in Your respective city....I bet you will find required qualification as CA/CPA/ACCA CA is preferred over ACCA or even CPA is preferred..... ACCA is not preferred Indian Job Market I Cleared ACCA 5 papers but then shifted to CA. ACCA churns out lot of money does a lot of marketing but there is very little scope in INDIAN JOB MARKET DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ACCA I have wasted it so am Informing you...

Sir it cost 1.5 to 2 lacks to claim exemption till f9 i.e skill level in acca. Itne me toh banda CA bhi ban jaye. In dono ko acca institute ne sponsor kia he lag ra he.

For 9 papers, exemption fee varies from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2000 per subject depending on your qualification. This reduced exemption fee is applicable if you register with an approved learning partner like EDU91.
