This Ferraris were suffering hurricane damage in 2004. Then were relocated to a warehouse near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway . Now the entire collection is for sale.

Those cars on the hill that were trashed was from a Florida hurricane from the 2000s the owner kept them in storage until now. They were flooded

The Zonda was probably Bob 😆 Glad you're having fun out here on the coast. I'm skipping the zoo this year, I've just done it too many times for any of it to be of amusement anymore. Probably the most fun is Rolex Reunion if you get a chance to see the official race days. Take care out there, I would warn you about the cops but usually traffic is so bad there isn't much opportunity to speed anyway.

Thank you for the tour of the auction cars, I always wanted to go to Monterey car week but still haven’t made it. Those damaged Ferrari’s all came out of a collection in Florida from a metal building that got hit from a hurricane. The owner was or is a real estate investor that got in trouble with the IRS and has been sell them off
for awhile.He had some very high end cars including a Ferrari 250 GTO, this whole story I saw on CZcams video from Ferraris online two days ago.

You know Your Ferrari's Dan. The 288 GTO was the car to get here in north Scottsdale back in the late 1980's. My girlfriends Father then had a 288 GTO, a Countach and a new Corvette. He still has the white Countach. No 288 or Corvette. Keep in mind the 288 GTO was grey market in the United States back then. Hard to import and tag in Phoenix. I knew it was cool but looked like another 308 to most folks... Factory twin turbo. 400hp. 14 second quarter mile. Still under appreciated with the under 50 Ferrari folks today.
The F40 and 288 GTO were the last cars Enzo got to see. It was so depressing in the 1990s as a Ferrari guy. The 348 and 355 really were not good quality or performing in the marketplace. The 360 in 1999 brought Ferrari back in my eyes...

Very cool, I really wanted to see that Silver Carrera GT. I have only seen one out of the small production numbers, That's probably going for about 1.2m now MSRP was about 500k back in early 2000s.

I'm surprised you didn't know the 575 Super America came in manual. 😀 FYI: 575s that were factory optioned with carbon shift knob got gear indicator instead of Cavallino on shift gate. Keep up the good content!!!

ya when i was a kid growing up in the 50s n 60s in nj i remember quite a few ferraris going for only a few thousand in the local papers which i was always on the lookout for ended up with a healy 104 i bought for 450 bucs and drove all through college in nc

Fiberglass 308gtb was how they were originally manufactured. People didn’t want fiberglass Ferraris, so they switched to steel. Fiberglass cars were 400 lbs. lighter, so much quicker. Now it’s the fiberglass cars which are in the greater demand. They built just over 800.
