We attended Dr Bill Hamon's prophetic conference back in 1991 and they prophesied to us one by one so wonderful and it came to pass.

Interesting potted history of how the full Gospel including the Holy Spirit's gifts and enabling came to be restored to the Body of Christ ever since Martin Luther...but I can think of several individuals all through the so-called Dark Ages who experienced personal salvation through Christ, the joy of the Holy Spirit and even charismatic gifts - such as the nun Hildegard of Bingen who wrote songs in tongues in about 1200, Richard Rolle who wrote "The Fire of Love" in the early 14th century and Julian(a) of Norwich who lived in a cell in Norwich Cathedral and wrote devotional classics..God made sure the flame never quite went out!

ill give u one more gem....there were only 12 that receved tounges I the day of pentcost...the room they were n was the temple...yes they were lvng n the upper room but at 9 am an 3 n theafternoon they were n the house of god...thats why 120 heard the 12 speek n tounges...now doesnt that make so much more since.

' this is a figure of speech...there are over 212 figures of speech n the bible..the figure is jesus was so close an so like god you could hardly tell the diffrence...i an my father are one...is a figure... an my fathere are one...we even look alike...but we r one n purpose not one n the same.
wolf in sheeps clothing! dont be decieved brothers and sisters, tongues is a spiritual gift amongst other spiritual gifts and not everyone shares the same gifts. the gift of tongues is to benefit others not to benefit oneself. the apostle paul had the gift of tongues so he could preach to the gentiles. quick question how could paul preach to the gentiles if he didnt know how to speak there languages? answer is god gave him the gift of speaking in tongues which literally means different languages so he could preach more affectively to the gentiles. the bible does talk about the angelic tongue but not everyone will recieve it. If you are speaking in tongues or thinking you are and it comes to know beneifit to the people in the church then that is not speaking in tongues. please people read scripture for yourself dont take a mans word for it. the bible isnt a prosperity gospel its a book that slices through the hearts of men. focus on jesus he is the way the truth and the life and the gift of his grace shall bless you all.
