The highest I've tried feeding my mags at was at 50rps with Evike Bamf 190 round midcaps. Feed beautifully

Chris Hernandez Im having the same problem as well. From what i can tell i have version rE1.4. I followed the instructions on the paper but now my dP is at 50 and my PSI is around 50 as well. if i lower my dP and keep my PSI around 50-60 i dont even fire one round.
My g&g manual drum feeds 50 rps, murder mags feed 65-70, pts epm feeds 60, thats what i know from personal experience 😁👍

What do you think of using non lipo batteries for your polarstar. And what are the effects
Also how do you know when youre battery is dieing? Does it beep or do you have to keep checking the screen?
i wanna be able to run a double stack trigger smoothly with my jack. what in the FCU would i have to change to get good response and also be able to cycle pretty fast on semi???? plz help :(

i just got a new jack from you guys and the fcu is blue, and it doesnt have all the settings that you are showing here, is there any way to get all the settings you have? i want to get the lipo setting

Nope, you can use your stock barrel setup if you would like. You will need to make sure that your HPA unit is aligned correctly when you install it. As long as that happens, you will be good to go! 8)

hey amped,
i wanna jack up my PKM but how does that work with the trigger mechanism?
and the mag gets fed on the same battery as my gearbox so how would that work?
cant really find anything on how its wired with the switch that the m249 style gearbox has.
and finally i use the option that my mag only feeds when i pull the trigger will that still be possible?
sorry for all the questions but i cant find a single picture of the inside when its fully wired up in a m249/pkm

I have a Jack, but I don't see a "SAFE" mode on my FCU even after I press the stick. Do I have a difference version FCU? When I press the stick once, it shows "r E 1.4". I also notice a "SR mode" I think. I tried messing with it, and pretty much when I set it to "SR 5", and shoot it on semi, it lets me shoot 1 bb per 5secs. Weird feature... Anyway, thanks in advance!

that setting is for cqb fields starting to keep people from spamming which is what that setting is for

what about the new revision? my settings are completely different from these...
I literally don't have any of these setting,i only have 2 of the setting shown in video. Also in the beginning where you switch it to safe it doesn't switch to safe it just stays on Shot and it turns off like 4 seconds later. I just got this on February 16 2016 I don't know if I have a different version or what also when I shoot my gun with the battery and fcu in it doesn't even make the noise that it usually makes. I could really use some help here

+Chris Hernandez hey what is your fuc set for? ie. fusion engine or Jack. On the fuc screen go into settings mode and look for FC here it will tell you weather your in fusion engine or Jack mode. FCFE is Fusion engine and F1 is Jack mode. That is the problem i had until a buddy of mine seen i was in FE mode and not in F1 mode just make sure you have your psi set above 50.

My fcu doesn't have the settings starting at AS mode. Is something wrong with it? I bought it on Craigslist so I don't have a manual.

Purchasing the Amped player kit for the Jack. Few questions. Is the install easy? Does the player kit come with a fcu? Also does the fcu go in the gun? I just want a gun with high rof and high trigger response
Hi there! Glad to hear that! 8) It installs relatively easily. The biggest thing is making sure your nozzle is aligned correctly. Yup! All HPA units come with an FCU.
The Jack will definitely do that for you. 8)
Amped Airsoft Sorry but just to clarify the FCU does go into the gun. Im watching the video to understand the dwell and stuff.
Yup, the standard FCU goes in your buffer tube typically so that it's accessible. -Kurtis

hey guys, I just ordered the jack v2 player kit. it says eta 8/14... does that still seem accurate?

i have a couple of these settings but i dont have all of these. i have some different ones on my Jack. its BS because my jack has alot of issues. spent so much money and still have shit tons of issues. and anytime i ask people for help they refer me to a video that wont help (this one) because i dont have these settings. shuned away from P*s because i got a lemon FCU.
Does the rf setting affect how fast semi auto shoots just curious as I was thinking of this last night?

how do you reset the fcu? you didn't do it on the video but you only briefly talked about it. plz help cause my p* is not working right now because i messed around with the fcu,

Is there any way to have the FCU shut off completely when the battery starts to die? An indicator on the screen doesn't help much when the FCU is inside my buffer tube all day.
+777astercheese the lb setting tells the fcu to not allow you to fire your gun. (00 is off, 02 is 7.4 and 03 is 11.1) This prompts you to change your battery. If you keep it connected despite this it will drain. There is no way to shut it off completely. Just to realize your gun stopped firing so you Can change your battery asap.

Hey I need some help with my jack ...i got it set up in my ameoba with an m4 gear box inside the ameoba shell but I'm having issues with my new tight bore barrel every once an a while I dry fire and a bb like falls out with about 15fps and I need to know what I should have my fcu settings at if u could help me that would be great ...
Hi there Billy,
Have you done an FCU reset? If so, does this help this issue out? Please give that a try. Another thing to try is to make sure that your hop unit is set to your liking. You may be having an issue where your bucking is not "holding" the bb correctly and is allowing it to roll out of the barrel when firing instead of holding it and having the appropriate amount of air hit it in the appropriate place resulting it the BB rolling out of your barrel. Please try the above and see if it helps. If not, please email us at sales@ampedairsoft.com and we can attempt to further troubleshoot it for you.

I found out it's defiantly my fcu settings I lower my p d . The Poppet dwell and I don't seem to be having the problem any more I think I'm all set thanks

amped has a jack package that comes with the jack your choice of regulator line color of line and battery and there are other optional things like an extra battery a plug and an allen wrench to adjust the psi

For anyone else coming here with a newer version FCU for the Jack and you're not seeing the same options on your FCU as this video, try their newer how to FCU video. It has a walk through for all the HPA FCUs including the newer version of the Jack FCU.

It is possible to make the FCU of the Jack "Semi only" with the Firmware from Polarstar ?
I live in Germany, and here is only "Semi only" allowed...
***** Yes, go to the Full auto/burst menu (@ 2:50 ) and set it to 1. This basically makes full auto a "one round burst" which is semi.
EnV Carson Yeah this might be possible, but I need it on Semi all the time. So Iam not allowed to have a function in my FCU to switch it back to Fullauto or Burst.
A friend told me there is a Firmware from Polarstar for the Fusion Engine, which completly disabled the function to switch between Semi, Fullauto and Burst and set it only to Semi.
I was wondering, if I can use this Firmware in the Jack's FCU, to make it legal in Germany.
***** There are FCU locks which function like the Tournament locks sold on Ampeds website. It is basically a plastic cover which fits over the FCU and can be ziptied to prevent tampering. Your field should allow it.
does anyone know what dp I need to run at?
hi, I recently purchased the jack but when I was missing with the fcu it wouldn't let me pass 25 on the rate of fire every time I tried it would freeze and I would have to reset it. I was wondering if yall could help me

My FCU doesn’t have the FAFU setting so I can’t change to 3 round burst it just stays with the semi and auto please help
Chase, the fcu has changed since this video. The new settings are s1 and s2. 01 on s1 is semi 03 on s2 is burst. Please refer to your instructions for clarification on this. We also have a newer fcu video available as well.
MY fcu settings are on 30 rps and 101 for my semi auto it shoots so slow what's the problem!?
Optiboy if you had it on burst, you have to do a factory reset by holding down the joystick then unplugging the battery. I had this problem and the gun shot 1 round per second

Sure can! Just simply select FE instead of F1 on the FCU programming. If your FCU is older than this programming, then the only way to obtain this new purchase a newer FCU or have your FCU reflashed by PolarStar if it is within the correct time frame to do so.

Please do not use an 11.1v on your FCU. Use a 7.4v for all HPA units

Typically your battery will last longer than a full days play. The only thing is that you must keep your battery unplugged once you are done playing. The FCU of the Jack will drain the battery within a couple days if you happen to forget to unplug it. (Unless you have a mini FCU). Even then though, it's always good practice to unplug your Airsoft batteries when they are not in use as well as charge them before and after you play.
Long story short, it's good to have a backup battery, but not necessary.

Lines are 40 ish

You are able to adjust your ROF by setting your rF setting. If you set it for say 10, then your gun will shoot 10 rounds per second.
Excerpt from instructions:
"Rate of Fire (rF) - The ROF variable sets the cyclic rate of the system. The value on the display is the desired cyclic rate in
Rounds per Second. If the FCU calculates that the set cyclic rate is too high to achieve based on other settings then it will
automatically use the calculated maximum cyclic rate regardless of the number displayed"

Since this video, PolarStar has updated their FCU settings. This video was filmed back in 2015. Please refer to your manual for the latest FCU settings. We also have an updated FCU video located here: czcams.com/video/mSp2vBhYNJU/video.html
Please be advised that PolarStar removed the LB setting as the FCU is much more efficient now and it is no longer required.
