UNDESCRIBABLE, I DON'T HAVE WORDS ENOUGH FOR IT. OUR IMAGINATION CAN'T ABSORBING CHINESE ARTISTIC PORCELAIN.
The artistry is astounding, that programme was spell binding as it gave up its secrets of the porcelain history. The other thing was our host attentively listening to an elderly gentleman talking about porcelain, shows wonderful respect, a major difference between east and west, where the western interviewer shows no respect for their better?
This is remembering history. Remembering all the lives of our ancestors that have lived before. Admiring all their skills and knowledge they have acquired, and never to forget them.
*And it is so delightful to know hat Europeans will NEVER conquer such an ancient experienced civilization.*
THIS MAKES ME SO PROUD OF MY CHINESE HERITAGE. I M PARTLY CHINESE BY BLOOD, FILIPINO. BUT I SPEAK MANDARIN.
This is fantastic! I have been to Jingdezhen a few times, and the narrator is lively, and the twl\o sections get into great detail. I am a collector, American, but my father was born in Beijing in 1910- the last year of the Qing dynasty!!! Of course my favorite is the chicken cups!
I Love this video ,I hope I get born in China in my next life....i am trying to make Porcelain as it inspires me to want to live.... so beautiful
That porcelain is absolutely elegant!
Gorgeous video about porcelain, thank you :0) Tea people from Russia watching.
Beautiful and artistic China. Thanks for the great video content.
china is most richest country in culture tradition art and technology now going to be rich in power go a head china our strong friend love and respect from nepal
This is one of the reasons why I love💕🇨🇳 China so much, its art.
Excellent video with historical importance. Exquisite ceramic artifacts.
How curious❣️I love learning about this from the natives of the region. My ancestral name is chingwa in anishinaabe language but my family history has been lossed to those passed on but this inspires me more to research more related to the Chinese characters for porcelain. Thank you 🙏
What a wonderful documentary, and such beautiful porcelain. Thank you very much!
I wish I could find words to explain how amazing educating this video really is
What an amazing history! Now I know 'Chungnan' (not sure how to spell it) became China and Chungnan was renamed Jingdezhen the “Porcelain Capital” of the world. Wow!
Changnan (south of Chang river in Chinese)
@@maxdc988 thanks for that!
Wow, beautifull and high artistic China
Love your videos I find both informative and and pleasure to share your visit as you travel through the country it makes me realize how much I would love to see it all for my self
I intend to spend some time exploring china and your travelogues will help me to decide some of the places I would like to visit. Thanks Min Zhui.
Another great video, thanks for sharing.
in the 80s I was exploring back streets in the then MUCH smaller Wuhan when a wrinkled old man approached me a straw bag with 5/6 porcelain objects to sell. Not understanding a word It took a while and him unwrapping a delicate white vase from its rice paper wrappings for me to understand. To my untrained eye it looked like a simple off white vase with designs of mountains and rivers, all in the same off white, on the outside. As he looked very frail and had a very friendly toothless smile I chose two others, ca beautiful porcelain tea pot and a bowl. i paid him about $50s for all three pieces. . months and 1000s of km's travel across China I left to go back home, gave the three pieces to my gf and forgot about in. Then in 2014 i read an inflight magazine on Cathay Pacific and saw an article on CHINESE CHINA. On landing in HK I called my then ex gf and asked her to take the pieces to an antiques dealer I knew of who I had seen had several Chinese artefacts. Well the following week she called me back bubbling with excitement. The off-white vase actually had magnificent blue embossed scene's of a naval battle INSIDE! in a nutshell, the 3 pieces were valued at $300,000 plus minus, a piece ! She, my Ex gf, thanked me profusely for the 'beautiful' gifts and promised to look after the pieces in a safe at her fathers home (she had been displaying them on the mantelpiece of the fireplace with the many other Guangzhou tea pots I had bought for her collection)
Kindness reaps reward.
More love to China ❤❤❤
How many people on earth work as hard? Chinese people work day and night to supply the world and yet some complain being rippid off while enjoy the inexpensive, high quality goods that they would otherwise never get anywhere else. So ugly a world!
Excellent art on porcelain. Like it.
Thank you for this informative video.
*So AMAZING to see the use of HEATH to harden porcelain for thousands of years without even losing forest and trees. The secret of the perfect kiln is the secret of keeping the ecology.*
Excellent pieces of art
Thanks for the upload ...my next trip would be here
Excellent work of art, thanks a Lot!

I love this girl, she has a true Chinese beauty. Her traditional happy face, smile mouth and exciting eyes.
She is Aussie. Born in Sydney, Australia.

I don’t see any white in her... sorry
exciting eyes lol, first time i've heard that
@@aguywithananimeprofile8950 : He is being pervy.... Lol.... I wondered about that term too..."Exciting eyes"... I think he means her eyes were glistening.... and sounded excited at what she was looking at. Meaning appreciative. I think.
And nobody. This world can say we copied them. Well done
the word China came from the first empire Chin of Chin Shi Huang Di, the emperor of the great terra cotta army!
you are correct
@S. Young not if you use jyutping
love this beautiful cermic world. Thanks.
The presenter is gorgeous.
Excellent
I come to watch the host. :P
I thought it was called China from the Old Persian word Chini which means the Qin Dynasty, due to them recognizing Qin's hegemony in the region after they unified all the different kingdoms during the warring states era.
Edit: I think she's referring to the porcelain not the country, which share the same name but with different etymology
China is definitedly very advance in ceramics manufacturing as the years past bye. With modern ideas and technique used cerammics became exquisite for collectors and is not cheap. Very good documentaries for those still sceptical about China.
17:23 "It reminds me of getting really lost in Jerusalem." Glad that you visited our country!
What can you say that hasn’t been said, the artwork is peerless, China has discipline, that’s what’s required to make your country as beautiful as China has done, those traditions are still able to be employed, which is why China will eventually win anything they choose to engage in.
❤I love China it’s my favorite country to visit
Amazing porcelain from country never too high price it fetches .
hey CGTN ! finished Pearl River already? how come Pearl river not including Nanning, Chongzuo,Longzhou in Guangxi?
Pearl River is in GUANGDONG mate
love the host,, hahahaha
China comes from qin dynasty old styles spell cin, but Latinised to be cina. Thus China today.
it meas the center of the word
China is how Indians called the country after Qin (Chin) dynasty
We call it China Clay🇮🇳
THE LADY NARRATING IS VERY BEAUTIFUL.
AND SHE SPEAKS ENGLISH VERY FLUENTLY WITH NO CHINESE INTONATION.
All around the Chinese world how are you.
I knew that Min-Zhui Lee is Australian from her accent.
Lol... I thought her English was good until she said "Good Day" ! Lol... And then she did smile a lot. Certainly not British accent ! We must be so grumpy in the UK.. and so serious sounding... It is from the lack of sunshine. Do excuse me.
Lee's American from her reference to peanut butter in the video 'Wuhan - Detriot of China'!
Her accent is more New Zealand than Australian. A pleasure to listen to.
Oh My God
New knowledge
In Europe the Capital of Porcelain is Meissen. Thnaks for the report.
Günther Lehmann messen learn from china😊
The European stealed the technology from China, then USA stealed it from Europe.
Finally, jerks at USA claim China steal the tech from them.
Is not because porcelain China call China. It's because Chin(秦国) in Italy /Latin still call Cina. It's big mistake by the Chinese :)
When they wanted the best potters they went to Korea, kidnapped the potters and went home.
A rose is a rose. It does not matter what name you call it.
Before they made the film ghost they must have visited this city beforehand
👌🏋️💑💋
Cathay or KaThai from the Thai or Tai people.
China is just an anglicized name for the Qin dynasty.
In East Europe and Central Asia, the Chinese are called Khitan people(and it's derivatives) based on interaction with one group of people.
China 是從“秦「cin,chin」”演化而來,並不是瓷器的意思
This question should have 2 parts:
1. In English why it is calked China?
2. In Chinese why it is called 中国?
Shouldn't China change its name to Jingdezhen by now?
Great info, nicely presented. Every Kung-Fu person should be able to squat for at least 10 minutes, though...
China? Wrong. Jina? Yes. Middle Kingdom? Wrong. Beautiful Land? Yes.
央视口音最正记者之一。
I thought China was called China because of the Qin dynasty!! the first to unify China. Not Quannan or Jingdezheng
Do you mean why China is called China or why China is called China?
The question is, for foreigners like me who wants to visit China, can we speak with the people in english?
some can speak English, BUt our English is not good. YOu can download some apps to help you
in the large city they speak English well.
Your face is shine like china.
So the Chin dynasty has nothing to do with the name China?
China is called China after Qin dynasty, not after porcelain (a.k.a. fine china).
景德镇和China没关系吧,以讹传讹
小写的c china 陶瓷的意思
M Shaw 先有儿子后有爹?
Sorry to disappoint you with the fact that China comes from "Chine" empire and china consequently.
Is this a deliberate attempt to mislead how the name China came about? Or a cheeky pun on the names of the country of China and its world renowned porcelain?
契丹(qidan)=Kitay in Russian=China in English
Don’t agree.
Not really my thing but thanks anyway.
You look like crysty chung
Una lástima que un tema tan interesante como éste sea desarrollado por esta periodista mediocre......
Those prices are so inflated. They don’t worth that much, cost of design + cost of manufacturing + cost of sales + profit margin, I would just pay ¥50 for that chicken cup.
Left anti pc This kind of art definitely is out of your understanding and you affordability, so....that is not your fault.
Jįë Li “I am rich, you are poor...” lol that is as much as you are capable to say. Shallow soul.
This isn't some factory manufacturing. That's like saying a Monet isn't worth millions because I can break down the cost to the canvas and paint.
@@TPerm-hj4sf Understanding is not limited to the rich. You are the one who has resorted to fleeing under the banner of "You are rich, I am poor" because you cannot answer the charges.
xandercorp what is the charge?
Because of fake and copied and low quality producctt
@The Truth Seeker As a person with schizophrenia, i can tell you, he has nothing to do with people of my kind. He is simply ignorant and lives in his tiny echo camber.

I agreed with you before but now. It is your bias. All products are improving. Some products has advanced tech .
