Honestly, they probably wanted someone to treat them like normal people instead of stars. A few famous people dont want the pampering, recognition, or fans drooling over them. A family member was a limousine driver/owner. He had high dollar clients he just treated like normal people. Never asked for autographs, pictures or so forth. Always repeat business from them.
As a man slowly climbing the walls of a girl I’m madly in love with that’s coming out of a very long abusive marriage, I feel this in the extreme. It has taken more patience than I ever thought I’d have, but I do think she’s worth it. Time will tell.
