    I picked the Lambo when I started a few months ago because of how comfortable the car is. There's so mamy setup options and the car just doesn't really bite you for making mistakes.

    Love your setups generally, as a controller player especially yours are the ones that really worked for me. Lambo somehow is the fastest car for me in terms of pace and hot laps but its noticeably more understeery compared to other cars so you have to nail the apex. I would put curbs and understeer into the - column but thats if you are looking at it from controller players perspective.

      Thanks a lot! The understeer is a rather positive aspect from my perspective. You have to handle it driving wise for sure, but you can also still cope it setup wise. The Lambo is not too bad over curbs though. I have put it to "-" in the Ferrari for example.

    I have been using the Lambo or Audi for years as I love the sound of screaming V10! the fact that 1.9 made the Lambo bop strong is a bonus. However, with the opening of sim grid on console I thought I would give McLaren’s a go. Instantly fell in love with the front end turn in. Lambo always feels really vague to me. I have been using GoSetups on Lambo and Your setups on McLaren’s, so today I will sit down and do a full set of your setups on Lambo and get some practice in. Having seen the Lambo taking a second out of me a lap at silverstone in very capable hands I wish to get back in the Lambo. Everyone seems to be in a McLaren. One thing I don’t get is you say breaking performance is great in Lambo, I find the McLaren’s more consistent under breaking.

    • @Fri3d0lf
      @Fri3d0lf  Před 7 dny

      The Lamborghini is on the safer side driving wise for sure. There is more rotation in the McLaren, but it has a strange driving behavior especially in slow section where it steuggles for grip. In my opinion, the McLaren (non-evo and evo) has never been good on the brakes which I feel better with in the Lamborghini.

      Thank you! The Audi is really fast, but it is not really a pleasure to drive at low grip tracks (e.g. Suzuka). The Ferrari or Lamborghini take a big advantage regarding that aspect. However, if you feel fine with the Audi, it is a good choice even though it is not up my list that rather follows drivability.

      Well, I habe got no clue about the LFM BOP and the BMW might be strong on these tracks with the customized BOP. Regarding the default BOP, the BMW suffers on a bunch of tracks though. However, the TC is a big disadvantage in the BMW, especially for beginners. There is no mechanical grip available, but you cannot go higher than TC4 without losing lots of lap time due to permanent interventions. On the other hand, TC4 might not be enough. It also feels like a heavy car that struggles on (off throttle) turn-in. This goes for slow sections especially. Nevertheless, the aerodynamics are still great in the BMW - so no worries if it is your best to go for, it would just not be my choice.

      The Porsche can be a good choice for sure and the new model might be safe as well. However, due to its engine sitting in the back it behaves so differently compared to the other cars. As soon as you only look at the throttle, the Porsche will understeer. It also does not offer a good top speed. Hello! Here is what I have written about the BMW answering a similar comment below this video:
      I feel like the BMW has too many weaknesses currently. Its TC would be my first point to mention. Especially for beginners, TC4 might not be enough with its bad mechanical grip. If you go higher than that though, the TC will intervent permanently which significantly loses you lap time. The BMW is also very sluggish through slow sections. Further it has lots of tracks where it is far off the pace regarding the default BOP. If I had made this video a year ago, the M4 would have maybe even been on top of the list. There are better choices now and considering the front-engine cars, the Aston allows to be more stable not losing so much time due to aspects like the TC. I would go for mid-engine cars nevertheless in the current state of ACC as they are - at least the Lamborghini and the Ferrari - just as stable and well balanced!
      The BMW can be good nevertheless though!
