Of course it's fan service but it doesn't mean FB are not good friends. They do care for each other, respect each other and love each other and what kind of love it's up to them to handle it. Whatever it is as long as they are happy is fine with me. Regardless they are still Freen and Becky.

We fall in love with the series. Now it's done they want to go back to normal but are having a hard time to get out because of the fans. Some are heavily invested in the team and they don't want to hurt the fans. With these individual projects maybe slowly weaning us from FB but for Freen or Becky only. We might get hurt or disappointed but that doesn't mean we give up on them. Some will but mostly they won't. That's just my theory and opinion. I still do hope they are real.
