Your videos has great info then the guy at DVS limited, you don’t take your video too long.
Can you make a video on Hikvision NVR with 4.0 on accessing the camera through the NVR with a computer locally to configure the camera. The NVR has limited camera confirmation, seems like you have to use a computer to access the camera to do fine toning.
    Thanks

Did you try increasing the shutter speed to reduce motion blur? Most Hikvisions ship with 1/25 or 1/30 shutter speed. You can normally increase this to 1/50 or 1/60 without too much loss of overall brightness.

I have the colorVu camera and it doesnt let me change shutter speed. When I choosw image settings, there’s no option to view or modify shutter speed :(

Can you share the link if there was a side by side comparison done between these two colourvu cameras referenced in this video?

Hello, good afternoon. I wanted to ask you if Hikvision cameras can create profiles to be used during the day and another profile to be used at night with different settings. Thank you!

I don't get really warm with that ColorVU ...i don't want to have the lights on over the whole night. If it would have an accurate sensor that activates the LED only if something is moving it would be ok. The holy grail would be a combination of IR and ColorVU

Hi Pat you can setup the camera to do this, basically a motion sensor light. Currently Dahua has released the TiOC range which has all built into one.

This camera is not better than 2087 from your test, if the last would have been proper focused, am i right?

Thank you for the. Video. How does one decide which camera to use. I mean between this one and the turret one ?

No problem. Glad you enjoyed it. This will really come down more to preference and look. The bullet cameras stand out more and are more noticeable. Will also depend on height of the camera as bullet it easier to pull down compared to a turret.

What camera would you say is overall better than this one

Hi Michael thanks for commenting. There really isn't one camera that will do everything in my opinion. You would need to use a combination of cameras to achieve the best results.

Hi, thank you for a great review. I am considering using this camera to film fly on the wall videos on our boat. The distance of the people being recorded will be no more than 5m away and we need to have good sound (vouce) recording. Would you recommend this camera or have a better one in mind? Many thanks

Hi Thank you. Footage will be fine, but will depended on your definition of good voice recording. If you comparing it say video with sound recorded on your phone it wont sound that good. It would sound a bit more hollow and tinny. You can however connect an external mic which may give a better sound but have never tested this.

I think Hikvision should improve Hz and DNR quality in their systems , 4k is not enough

Hi I personally think 4K is more than enough at present. If you need to capture something more specific at a longer range then choose an appropriate lens to suit. I'm sure they could improve Hz and DNR but would probably also increase the cost of the cameras. Thanks for commenting. Its much appreciated.
