Emmy has given me the wonderfully demented idea of frosting a cake with MORE CAKE
đđđ
Wow. What an idea!
đ
Perfect!!!â€ïžđđ
Do! It! Lol
Brilliant!
"1/3 of a cup of milk. That will help to loosen things"
*lactose intolerant viewers nod in agreement*
đ
đ€ź
Just use Almond milk instead (I agree with you cut the amount)... I add it to pumpkin pies too it makes more tolerable
OMG YESSS!!!!
Time to get the whole milk lactade LOL đđ€Šđœââïž
Anyone else notice how much her makeshift kitchen has blossomed? đž
I was just thinking about that
I noticed too. I wonder if the sink works. I think Glen and Friends has the coolest studio kitchen.
Yes indeed. I think she put it together really well.
Yes! But I miss her home kitchen, it was so cozy
Wait this isn't her real kitchen??
Surprised this wasnât called a salad, honestly.
đ
There was no mayonnaise. I think that's a requirement with "salads" đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Lol
It was not called a salad đ€ ! It was called a dip.
@@smurfettmm999 pasta salad disagrees đ€Ł
Iâm probably not the only one, but Emmy has really helped keep the darkness at bay this year. The âitâs great to see youâ bits make me feel like Iâve gotten to spend time with a friend when itâs been much less possible to do so.
Thank you, Emmy!
Agreed, she and a few other youtubers are bright spots in the day
She does make me feel calm and collected its her sweet and soft voice
How though? Someone talking to the camera doesn't remotely make me feel like I am spending time with them. If anything, it makes me realize even more how alone I am. đ
@@englishatheart Iâm sorry you donât get the same benefit I do. It may have something to do with doing virtual happy hours with assorted friends since March.
I hope things get better for you, and for everyone else!
It sounds like you're calling it "Hella Fresh," and I think they should change their name to this :3
Hella Yeah!
At least regionally!
Seconded!
That's a hella good idea
I have heard others saying it the same way. And it kinda makes me want them to change it.
Who are we kidding, weâre going to eat this with a spoon while watching tv
I was thinking in my head how you would describe the taste of the cake. Waxy...nailed it!
Emmy has the best food descriptions!
I bought a box and was confused why I liked them. Like the frosting isn't bad, but the cake in those is the worst! its so dry its almost powdery
Hello đ how are you doing
You go ahead and grab your pretzels and call it a dip while I grab my spoon and call it pudding.
I bet eating that with the pretzels tastes a lot like white chocolate covered pretzels. Yum!
I bet it is close. The yellow cake has more "vanilla " flavor and sort of crumb-like richness, probably even after being food processed. Sort of a different taste & texture from plain chocolate (even different from melted chocolate) but very close, I think.

I grew up eating really clean and I didn't have a little Debbie product until college. I was trying to explain cosmic brownies to me dad and he was like oh we had those when I was in college. He though I meant a weed brownie đ«đ€Ł
What's a cosmic brownie? I'm Irish so we don't have little debbie
Europeans: Cookie butter
Emmy: CAKE DIP
Oh, wow. This is so disturbing and I want it SO MUCH.
đđŒ
I wanted it once the pretzels showed up!
Itâs so cuteeeeee

I didn't know what it was until I moved to the US.
@@Kt-cn2rq Thatâs understandable!! Iâm from the south and itâs a religious thing hahaha

These are my boyfriend's favorite. My family buys him boxes and boxes of them for christmas. (The vanilla ones only)
The whole time I was like "But what do you dip in it??" and then I saw the pretzels and now I am definitely going to try this.
I was thinking graham crackers
@@nickschroeder8496 or gingerbread cookies!
Vanilla wafers. They're wafer-thin!
All of the suggestions so far sound good, but I was wondering how apple slices would work.
Fresh fruit chunks and shortbread
Welcome back to another episode of âEmmy forgets to plug in the food processor â đ
We don't have these in the UK, but with how well Emmy describes everything it feels like we've already tasted them đ„° I could watch Emmy all day đ
Thank you.đ
You're not missing much! My dad used to buy them because they're cheap and when we were kids we just ended up eating them because there was nothing better in the house.
Just dip a candlestick in a little sugar and chew on it. That's what the "frosting" on little debbie stuff is like. The cake part is very unremarkable. Old Hostess was worlds better.
Hi ! It's Ashley, my husband Steven got me the cameo for an early birthday present. I wanted to let you know how appreciated you are ( also I have the best most amazing husband in the world )! I'm a healthcare worker, and your videos have helped me unwind after working long strenuous shifts. I've been watching sense the very beginning (web cam in japan!). I even try a lot of the recipes you make! You sparked new creativity for me in the kitchen. You are truly an Inspiration to me. I love the grape video with the rock candy. My two girls 3, and 6 love when they get to help make fun treats! Never stop being YOU, because you are incredible! And again Thank you.
I knew this dip would taste good when she put a whole thing of cream cheese in it!
I swear, every-time Emmy do this kind of recipes , my blood sugar reading went through the roof.
Yeah. It's probably best as a thought experimentl or like the infamous Twinkie experiment, kept in the lab. Imagining the greasy mouthfeel of the hydrogenated glyphosphatey cooked plant oils in my face mouthhole makes me want to brush my tongue.
@@voluntaryismistheanswer Yup!đ€ąđ€źđšđŠâ
I think it'd be awesome with vanilla wafers as dippers! đ
What a strange recipe. I love watching you make these weird things.
Yay! Thank you!
Emmy is so sweet! A retro recipe like that could make for unpleasant viewing, but Emmy's sweetness and gentle not ironic humor make it so much fun!
"I've never had a little debbie Christmas tree cake" I instantly felt so sad for Emmy. But it has been rectified today! đ
This is why I love Emmy's channel. She's constantly showing us recipes I would never even think about looking for or making. I love Little Debbie cakes so much, but I've never heard of making a dip out of them. Might have to try this sometime â€ïž
Thank you!
Was having a really bad day but Emmy made me feel so much better. LOVE THIS WOMAN!! Thank you for your positive vibes!!

My pleasure!
@@emmymade I love watching you. From the first video I became hooked! Love you girl! Merry Christmas!
Little Debbie's are such a guilty pleasure for me. I never had them until I was an adult and my mom started buying them as treats for her foster kids and my kids from the discount grocery down the street. I live in that same house now and every Christmas I indulge in a box. Now I have grandchildren of my own and enjoy sharing the cute cakes with them.
The Christmas Trees are def my fav Lil Debbies cakes. Every year at Xmas we stock up on the cakes & have some in my pantry rn. đ The green sugar crystals on top add just the amount of crunch to make them better than their other cakes.
The comment I was looking for! The crunchy sugar sprinkles are what makes em extra special. đ
zebra cakes were (and are still) my favorite little debbie cake! (except for cosmic brownies and star crunches) im thinking about making thisfor my father when my bf n i come over for christmas :)
Swiss cake rolls are my #1
Whenever I see anything Little Debbie I think of my grandma who called them Dirty Debbie. đ€Ł

They, like almost everybody else, have lessened the contents in the boxes and raised the prices. There used to be 6 in the box for under 2 dollars. :(
True!
Surprisingly, in Canada you can get them for $2 and thereâs six to a box
@@dingus.by.design True! Bought mine in dollarama for 2 dollars and there are six inside
I was surprised when she said the items cost her $8. I know the price of cream cheese has gone up quite a bit the last few years, too.
I love Emmy so much, sheâs so wholesome and she never fails to entertain me đ„°.
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Let me get this perfectly straight: You comment something that is completely unrelated to the fact that I have two HAZARDOUSLY HOT girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest CZcamsr worldwide, it is really incredible. Yet you did not mention it at all. I am VERY disappointed, dear as
the "fruity fruits" stuff is great, her other videos, like this one, should only be watched if you actually WANT to vomit.
No one :
Not one single person:
Emmy: did you know that you could grind up a bunch of little debbies into a dip?!?
Its very cool to see you reply to so much of the comments. Very humble, always love your content it's oddly therapeutic
Emmy, I am unapologetically doing this right now as I have these in my pantry! đđ

Great to know, thank you.
PSA: the strawberry rolls are best frozen!!! Iâm not sure when or why I started doing that but itâs so good
I would think to dip strawberries in this?
Yes, strawberries are wonderful with any type of cream cheese dip.
My mind is spinning with more little debbie dip ideas! Oatmeal cookie sandwich dip with apple slices... Hmmm do I see a new playlist?
Ping me when she does something with the Swiss Cake Rolls! đ
đ€€đ yum

I just started watching this and I'm guessing it's going to be wayyy too sweet.
That's what the pretzels are for!
@@firegodessreiko Indeed!
Probably, but it has to be less sweet than the cakes themselves.
When I was working to change my nutritional lifestyle, people loved to ask me how I had shed so many pounds.... and I would say "I broke up with Little Debbie".
It is boggling to my mind that anyone could stuff enough of these down their gullet to affect their health, they just taste like wax and chemicals and sickness, I really don't get it. I'm glad you escaped the addiction, for surely that is what it is.
Emmy, you never fail to bring a smile on my face!
You are such a treat to watch - affable, approachable & just simply, a delight! đ„°

These cakes are really good as a bedtime snack! đ
Back in 1985 my dad's step mother tried to tell my mom she made the Christmas tree cakes herself đ
Mom asked her how she got the icing so thin and perfect.... She said you gotta warm it up in the microwave first to make it warm and runny.... Mmmhmm, sure grandma đ RIP

Going to try with the chocolate ones!! Love your videos Emmy!! One of the few CZcamsrs whos content never gets old!
Yes! I saw this recipe on Facebook this week ans was so curious about it. Kids would surly like this dip.
Apparently, there's a "Jumbo pack" of the cakes, and the cakes in it are also Jumbo...bet that would make alot of dip! đđđđđđ
I saw them at Walmart the other day.
Oh I thought she was going to make a giant cake out of a bunch of smaller ones. This recipe sounds cool
I've never seen you more amused by a recipe. You giggled your way through this! LOL Love it! Can't wait to try it.
Very festive, looks delicious!
Fun fact, in 2019 Little Debbie had Christmas Tree cakes in July. They didnât sell that well so they didnât do it again.
Thatâs cute but I wouldâve thought they were months old and wouldâve passed on them to. Not surprising that it failed haha
