Old Station 3 Sterling Y-10 Siren Removed 4-13-2019

We just removed this old Sterling Y-10 yesterday (same one I talked about on www.airraidsirens.net years ago). We don't know exactly what is going to happen to it at this time. I'm checking in with everyone at the department to see what may happen to it for all siren enthusiasts. This siren is currently located on 4130 Camargo Road, Mt Sterling, KY 40353. There's been some talk so far to possibly refurbish the siren and use it for weather purposes. And I myself have made some suggestions to have this siren as an addition to our Fire Chief's Fire Museum he is making for the department. For further updates, visit Mt.SterlingKYJoshuaWilliams/. Delta TV no I haven't heard anything on when it's going to be. The administration has decided to kinda hold off a little while on the April drill since we had the March drill so late in the month. And from where summer break is soon, this is the time of the year where it's very uncertain. We didn't have our May fire drill last year because of the 2nd of May we had a small fire in the art room which set off the sprinklers. But I will of course be on standby if it does happen this week or next week. All depends.
