My best friend gave a little clip of her singing this song to me today. I told her to do a full cover, her voice is honestly so majestic and beautiful and I'm scared one day I'm going to stop hearing that voice because we're going to drift apart. She seems so much closer to everyone else than me and I feel so distant, but then again she's known them since she was very young unlike me. I can't expect to be that important in someone's life since I've only known her a quarter of the time everyone else has. Yes I could text her and tell her this but I don't think I'd get the reaction i want. I’ve been seeing a lot of comments about toxic relationships so this is what I think.
If you know it’s a toxic relationship, just end it before it gets any worse. They don’t love you like you think they do, and if you want your lover to love you the same way you do, make sure you aren’t with the wrong person. If you aren’t with the person who truly loves you, you’ll never be happy in the end. It’s better to end the old toxic relationship and start a new true relationship. No point in wasting your time with someone who’s just going to hurt you.
