Like yourself Lee, I too am really enjoying the game. I also look past it's minor flaws as it is by far the best truck sim we have on consoles. The 'one more delivery' before turning off is there for me and I'll still be on it for hours after 😊

just I'm case some didn't know,in the shop before ice roads(icicle point) you can purchase thermal jacket that allows you to stay outside in winter for as long as you wish

Hi lee! Just wanted to thank you for all your content and updates on the updates! You're amazing! I can confirm the update seems to fix the constant crashes I was having on the series s. And can now browse new vehicles and purchase them without it crashing. Meaning I can now, hopefully enjoy the game and progress with purpose. Thanks again.

I play on PS 5 and for me its light years ahead of any other trucking game I played so far - despite some minor bugs that don't kill the fun of playing this fantastic game. Finally a developer that nailed it. And I am sure they will take care of the bugs - had already two updates so far. The last one yesterday evening.

Because that game has WHEEL control, and Feel of driving LOCKED DOWN!
Still loving the game, except winter. But since the update I spent more time exiting the game and then clicking continue than ever before. It was mainly the sound issue loads and loads of times.
And loads more than before of trees on the road, and most of them had no notice given. Then after, most of them, the info that pops up to do with the guide would not go away.
I find it so odd that so many people are having issues constantly and some aren't ! It's bizzare ?
I’d like to see the icons in the mini map. That would help me NOT miss the points of interests
Just use GPS and Set a marker if it's on your Route anyway.. and if u are there just reset Route to destination

The developer should implement a fast travel to your HQ.
Would that make the game a little easier though in a way , doesn't bother me that I have to drive their !

Hi Lee, glad to hear the updates out. Hope the buying a truck bug on the series S is fixed as the game crashed no matter which class of truck I chose.
Yes, you can buy trucks now on series s. It still crashed on me once when browsing the different variants and interiors. Didn’t notice any performance improvements - tons of flashing textures and pop-in during normal gameplay - most of the world flashes after exiting your customization garage requiring a restart.
Should be fixed yes !
It is always smaller studios that have this problem with xboz. First descendant for example. Patches drops same time. Bigger studios it always goes faster.

It's a fantastic game with 67 hours played so far. The update has fixed some popping although it is still present in the game along with the truck engine sound sticking at a constant sound pitch. Still getting a lot of micro pauses or stuttering but that's mainly after the auto saves. Despite its niggling problems I'm enjoying myself playing on the ps 5 and so far only managed to fall through the ice once😅
You are similar to me , even with the niggles , still having a blast !
Update is already live on Series X, unfortunately it changed nothing with my game apart from my GPS now shows next junction, downloaded 38Gb update for that
Are you able to browse trucks ? The update was huge as Xbox adds the update to the game and make you download the whole game again sometimes ! The update wasn't even 1gb

Playing on PS 5 i beleive 20-30 hours in ive noticed the engine high rev will get stuck on every now and again (usually resolves itself), and the upgrades for your visors and stacks will both be equipped if you close the game and re open after buying them havent found a way to unequip either yet but also dont have the custom shop yet. So far an awesome game only thing i hope they bring in is a jake brake/engine brake, im personaly impressed with the engine sounds and would love to hear a jake coming down steep hills.
I'm sure there will be fixes , the pc port was a mess at launch , so much better now !
Hi Lee! Big fan of the channel but not commented before.
Just wanted to share an accidental golden nugget involving games with no ffb. I’ve tried it with fernbus, tourist bus and this game, and basically it’s a halfway resistance between super loose when you do the go on farm sim/dirt 2 first hack, then any of the games mentioned if you load it up as is, where you can hardly turn the wheel with any rotation.
Well basically if you go into project cars 2 first, then switch over you get a milder resistance, can fully turn the wheel and it also returns to centre position and it’s a game changer. Have tried multiple games and it only worked with loading project cars 2 first so far.
Just wanted to share as it’s made a massive, massive difference. Just wanted to put it out there for people to try and report back?
On my game.. My wheel centers by it self with out needing to do any of that? Lol

@@GhostSportsES oh nice! On my wheel it does that as well normally, but the resistance when turning the wheel is unbearable to the point you can’t even do a full rotation. Is that the same for you?
@@justbrowsing4471 With my wheel, it snaps back to the center pretty good.. However the resistance while turning? No.. There is some but its very low, almost barely feel it. I think it would be nice though to have way more resistance.
Like if u slide in winter an jack knife it the wheel just jerks around 😂 thatd be nice to have.
Hah that would be epic. Maybe it’s wheel specific as I only have a t300. Like I say my options are resistance with very limited rotation or 100% loose with no re-centring so for me it was epic finding it.

@@CGDGAMES That's good to hear, I did not like my first taste of winter and not looking forward to it coming around again. My main problem was not being able to work out what was road and what was not road. And as I was getting towards the end of winter it came up that I had failed at this that and the other, and that I had died of hyperthermia.
I was getting annoyed at not being able to get over a hill and must have taken my eye off the temperature, may have even unintentionally switched the heater off.
When trying to get over the hill I completely forgot about the diff lock option, it might have helped. And since starting my second year I have realised that I can drive from the outside, (third person I think it might be called), better than inside. Strange as other truck games I can not drive third person if I have a trailer on the back as it goes everywhere except where I want to go. So I hope it might be better when I am in the snow again than it was in first person.

Something I wish they would do is give us a better gamma meter in the settings. I feel like if you adjust it to how it probably should be, it's too dark. Like even going in to offices to take/turn in jobs, you can't even see the people in the office. If you put it slightly above it, I feel like it's almost too bright. There's no happy medium.
That, and I'd like a fov slider for inside the truck.

I've purchased a ps5 because i really wanted this game and up to now i am very dissapointed with it because the glitches and so on are so bad it's a right fuck up,i really hope these problems get sorted out because if they do i reckon i will love playing it,untill then though it looks like i'm going back to on the road.

I enjoy the game. Wish you could rid of winter coats when the percentage is 0. Also get rid of mistaken purchases.
To rid of winter coat , when outside of truck bring up inventory ( make sure coat is in inventory) whilst in inventory hover over coat , you should see an option to drop coat !

I tested this last night on PS5 for a few hours, looks like same update as you have here.
the turn indicator whilst changing now, is kind of broken still, its a bit misleading, and also missing turns... but better I guess.
as for performance on PS5, its slightly better, though some areas are still pretty bad...
overall, Im still enjoying it, it has a nice feel to it.. though lacks polish, and also does have performance issues.
(lets not mention the mirrors.. .doh, I did)
however, there s a huge issue, seeming PS5 specific .. some people, usually those with more hours in game (40+) are losing their saves, as Im about 35+, Im a bit nervous of playing, in case I lose all progress. so Ive scaled back my playtime on this, and move to Fernbus.
(have to say, Fernbus has its issues, but it does feel more optimised/polished than ART.. but I do miss trucking and Alaska ;)

@@CGDGAMES Are the saved games lost? Fuck. Well, that's a bitch because it takes a long time to travel in the truck. All these games have to be improved. They all come out broken on the console. Unbelievable. But at the moment Fernbus and Alaskan are the only ones who have a solid foundation to achieve a good game. Logistic truck driver on the other hand is finished but I think it's a brutal boredom after 2 hours of repetitive play and very bad physics. Greetings crack!!!

Hi MR Lee, I'm having a lot of fun with this game even though I lost 100 hours of gameplay... But I started again and I'm at a good level again now! I love this game, for class 3 I recommend you try the more expensive 85k Westend Sorrow MK 1 P, I also currently use class 2 and I love its performance

Hey you know with the the Westend Sorrow MK 1 has a performance version with 615 horsepower that would probably help with your that's the truck I bought and pulls hard

I just had a major game error. Wanted to save the game and exit to main menu. Lost my 40hrs with almost 20k miles savegame. The game was the best truck game on console by far for me. But that just sucks.😤

Lee my friend. I am lost. (PS5) I unlocked all the HQ workshop perks. Now the storage box that was in there is gone. Am I missing something? it used to be on the workstation behind the lift control and now it's gone. took my items with it. 😮

I've suffered environment flickering , but that was before the patch 🤦♂️ I think it's a quick resume issue on Xbox , so I always start with a fresh boot from the home screen now ! I've not had the issue since

Commented previously, I was just wondering now if anyone has been able to access the interior customization? It looks like on that tab there’s a picture of the seats and steering wheel. Unlocked it but went to HQ and can’t seem to find the interior options anywhere. Any help would be great

That steering problem is due to the steering settings. When I tried, the ones you suggested. I had that a few times. Went back to default steering settings, and that stopped it.. . Mine seemed to be turning right tho just a thought..
Sounds like you've got drift on your stick, increasing the deadzone would help

On xbox series x when u push a button on the screen and it takes u down to the radio does ur right analog stick stop moving as mine does can't turn
I have issues in the first 5 or so minutes of playing the left analogue stick stops working , the right stick sometimes drifts too , and it's not the controller as it's fine on any other game ! Bizzare !
Snowrunner is the best truck sim we have
This argument crops up a lot ! And snowrunner is an amazing game , but we always seem to categorize it more as an off road trucking game ! Still superb though , and I really need to play more of it !

I have unresponsive left stick and the right stick sometimes camera locks and i have to dashboard it
I also have unresponsive left stick , the first few minutes and then it doesn't happen again , weird !

Even after downloading the update I’m still having issues…. Now I’m getting background flicking, still crashes in the dealer menu, mirrors still not fixed…
It’s a bloody shame because it is a good game.. I’m hoping they can sort it very soon

I’ve given it a try. Most of it seems ok for the moment but I’m still having steering wheel issues, game won’t recognise the wheel and you need to get out of the game and restart, and sometimes that doesn’t even work, plus I now have street lights half buried in the middle of the road.. Sorry I’m such a pain in the arse Lee.
I quit playing till they fix more stuff and give us more truck lights, in cab blinkers, and fix the mirrors.

I just discovered the miles you drive from what it say on waypoint and what it put on odometer not accurate I just drive 700+ miles and only got 369 on odometer I’m 60+ hours in and notice it

Ya series x...went into base to use computer went on the 2 or 3 steps and was stuck in the floor. Couldn't reach pc Couldn't get into bed and Couldn't leave through main door. I know it was only 13 hrs but still had a few upgrades etc. Still like the game for what it is just really annoying
It says the trucks are 14 speed but can only go up to 8th gear? Is this broken, glitched, or just the way it is?

If you're playing on Xbox in this video then the graphics are a lot better on PS5 which is really confusing since they should be the same gen console and other truck games have better graphics than ART.

I seem to be getting more input delay than normal and the framerates look to be a lot more inconsistent since the update.
Shame they haven't fixed the game clock though (you can still drive 60 miles in 25 minutes) because it completely removes all difficulty elements when playing with 'legend' settings....so it is kind of gamebreaking.
Oh, and I can now 100% confirm that if you're playing in 'legend' difficulty (and possibly using the female character with the snowflake icon) then the achievements DO NOT work. I restarted in standard mode and they're all triggering correctly now.
In fact, no...scratch the first bit. I restarted my console and it seems better.

Confirmed you can buy a truck now on series s but had low res static frost textures flickering on the windscreen and 20-25 fps all the back to the garage. I guess I can call the game poorly optimized slop now, instead of criminally broken 😂
I've found with Xbox that if you boot the game up fresh every time rather than quick resume I run into less problems , give it a go !
@@CGDGAMES I never use quick resume. This game needs no help in performing poorly and crashing. I have no clue how a game that looks and runs this bad is almost 40 Gb.

Snow runner is awesome , but different for me , if Alaskan very relaxing for a kick off , snowrunner can be quite stressful, especially when I play 🤣🤣
Are they actually going to acknowledge there's a real issue with this game for series s? It's not like it's due to unreal engine. I'm not even willing to spend £21 on it if it's going to be unplayable as I only have a series s

Sorry I may be wrong but I'm sure the class 2 has a 14 gearbox and also wish they would sort the clutch out on the g930 with shifter but the game is amazing just some times it's the little things

Update and nothing that we want fixed like frame rate, mirror lagging etc. I’m on XSX and the update is there. I still don’t get how you can defend these guys when they haven’t even added something as simple as cruise control in all its development time. Hopefully they accelerate their update frequency. Maybe add full patch note posts like other devs. 0.2.0.11953
