This is a must visit place for me and my partner. You must have a constant Huge! Grin! on your faces being at that location lol
I was blown away by the place! Upon arrival it looks like something out of a Hollywood Film! haha The owners and staff were awesome as well. All around awesome place to visit if you're in Guatemala!

What drone is this brother? I love the quality. Going to casa del M August 20th. My lady is forcing me to buy a drone. Pls help bro lol
Thanks bro, I used the mavic 2 pro on this trip. If I could recommend some drone for your trip would either be the DJI Air 3 or the DJI Mini 4 pro. Both amazing machines, the mini being more portable but not as good in high winds. The Air 3 flys insane and has two different lenses.
I’m trying to go there with my significant other , what airport do you recommend landing in to get a closer proximity to here ?
Unfortunately there’s no closer airport! You need to fly into Guatemala City airport and catch either a private taxi or a shared transfer to Lake Atitlan. Take around 3hrs to get there but once you’re there it’s well worth the mission! Such a beautiful place! The staff from La Fortuna will pick you up with their boat at the harbor and bring you to the resort
What month did you stay there? Looking to stay in June but read it's rainy season!
We went in October and it rained mostly in the evenings then you wake up to a another beautiful sunny day and like clock work the clouds move in again around 2-3pm
How was it visiting during rainy season? Was the rain unbearable?
Not at all most the times it was beautiful mornings followed by clouds moving in round 2pm and rain in the evening

Yes and their food is excellent!😋
Were the meals included in the payment ?
Breakfast and dinner was but lunch and alcohol was not included. Aside from the free bottle of wine provided at checkin
Did you have to use the restroom outside in the rain? 😳
The first house had a indoor one. The second house we stayed in was outdoor bathroom but the sink and toilet area was covered by an overhanging roof. The bathtub was fully exposed to the rain!

What airport did you fly into?
We flew into Guatemala City and stayed in Antigua. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Guatemala City because the crime there is bad. However we felt super safe in the streets of Antigua. From there we took a private taxi and it was almost a 3hr ride to lake Atitlan. The resort sent us a boat to pick us up at the harbor. If you have any questions let me know and I’d be glad to help.

Did it rain a lot while you were there? Only time we would have to go is in October
It didn’t rain much when we were there. In the rainy season a lot of times it’ll be beautiful in the morning and the clouds will move in second half of the day. But we never had heavy rain

Was $250 for the bigger unit the first day and $150 for the smaller tree house style unit. so $400 for two days
